About LANDY

De Landy XO No.1 Cognac is een blend van eaux-de-vie uit Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne en Fins Bois, gerijpt voor een minimum van tien jaar. Hij wordt gepresenteerd in een prachtige karaf. Landy maakt deel uit van het grotere bedrijf Cognac Ferrand en werd in 1989 opgericht als een samenwerking tussen Alexandre Gabriel en een familie van traditionele wijnbouwers in de Charente. Landy Cognac werd gecreëerd met de filosofie om een frisse wind door de sector te laten waaien, maar ook met respect voor de traditionele methoden; daarom wordt het op de eeuwenoude manier geproduceerd, zonder gebruik te maken van massaproductietechnieken. Door alleen de beste druiven te selecteren, met zorg te distilleren en verschillende eaux de vie uit enkele van Cognacs beste streken te mengen, wordt elke fles een echte uitdrukking van zijn terroir. Hij won al meerdere prijzen, onder andere de gouden medaille op de World Spirits Competition 2011.
