Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Les Longeroies 2022 Red
In stock
Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Les Longeroies 2022 is a red Burgundy from Marsannay in the Côte de Nuits, made entirely from Pinot Noir. Its origin matters here: Les Longeroies is one of the notable lieux-dits of Marsannay and is mentioned among the climats considered for possible future Premier Cru classification.
Domaine Charlopin Tissier was founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier. The estate works on a small scale, with a clear focus on individual Marsannay sites. For this cuvée, a product-specific source notes that the vineyard was planted in 2015, on limestone or clay-limestone soils associated with the northern Côte de Nuits.
The winemaking is shaped around clarity and detail: full destemming, a cold soak before (…)Quinta Do Vesuvio 2021

Quinta Do Vesuvio 2021

Quinta do Vesuvio 2021 is a dry red wine from Portugal's Douro Superior, produced at Quinta do Vesúvio. It is the estate's flagship dry Douro red, alongside the Vintage Ports for which the property is historically known. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a serious, structured Douro wine shaped as much by its site as by the notably cool 2021 growing season.
The blend is led by Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, with a small addition of Tinta Amarela. The grapes were hand-harvested, carefully sorted and moved by gravity into small fermentation tanks. After fermentation, extended maceration helped build structure and mouthfeel, followed by 15 months in French oak barrels, a large proportion of them new.
What makes the 2021 vintage especially (…)Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay La Montagne 2022 Red

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay La Montagne 2022 Red

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay La Montagne 2022 is a red Burgundy made from Pinot Noir, rooted in a very specific site within the Marsannay appellation. La Montagne sits high in the appellation, above Les Longeroies and close to the forest edge. That cooler setting is an important part of the wine's identity, giving it freshness, lively fruit and a fine rather than heavy structure.
The domaine was founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier and works a small Burgundian holding of around four hectares, with parcels in places such as Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne-Romanée and Pernand-Vergelesses. This cuvée comes from a small parcel of about 0.46 hectare within the La Montagne climat, so it naturally belongs to the more (…)Domaine Charlopin Tissier Bourgogne Montre Cul 2022

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Bourgogne Montre Cul 2022

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Bourgogne Montre Cul 2022 is a French red Burgundy made from Pinot Noir. Its interest lies in the place behind the label: Montre-Cul, a vineyard area near Dijon at the northern end of the Côte de Nuits, used here as a named origin within the regional Bourgogne appellation.
For this cuvée, the fruit is linked to a small estate parcel on the upper part of the slope, with sandy clay-limestone soil and vines averaging 20 to 30 years old. That setting helps explain the style described for the wine: a soft, elegant Bourgogne Pinot Noir from a cooler, higher-lying site around Dijon.
The cellar work is deliberately restrained. The grapes are fully destemmed, fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts at low temperature (…)Le C Des Carmes Haut-Brion 2020

Le C des Carmes Haut-Brion 2020 is a red Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, made by Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion. Usually positioned as the château's second wine or complementary cuvée, it still carries a strong sense of origin and vintage, especially in a year described by the estate as focused on precision and tannin structure.
The blend is 60% cabernet sauvignon, 39% merlot and 1% petit verdot. The grapes were hand-harvested, left uncrushed, and a portion was vinified as whole bunches. Ageing took place in foudres and oak barrels, with only a limited share of new oak, followed by time in cement vat. That approach keeps the oak in a supporting role rather than letting it dominate the wine.

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy 2022 is a dry white Burgundy from the Chablis Premier Cru appellation. It comes from Beauroy, a climat on the left bank of the Serein, and is made from Chardonnay. Rather than presenting Chablis in its most sharply citrus-driven form, this wine leans towards a riper and broader interpretation while keeping the freshness that defines the area.
The grapes are described as coming from vines of around 50 years old on a sunny slope in Beauroy. Poor, stony, limestone-rich soils give the wine its mineral tension, while the exposure brings more body and fruit. Within Chablis Premier Cru, Beauroy is associated with wines that carry fruit, structure and a certain breadth.
Philippe Charlopin is based in Gevrey-Chambertin (…)Campo Al Mare Petit Verdot 2020

Campo Al Mare Petit Verdot 2020 is a red Toscana IGT from Tenuta Campo al Mare, the coastal Tuscan estate of Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari in the Bolgheri area. Petit Verdot ripens here in a warm setting moderated by winds from the Tyrrhenian Sea, giving the wine a dark, concentrated and firmly structured personality.
The 2020 vintage is made entirely from Petit Verdot selected from the estate's best vineyards. It was a relatively regular growing year, without an extremely hot summer, and the grapes were harvested in the third ten days of September. Fermentation took place in stainless steel with around 30 days of maceration, followed by roughly 20 to 24 months in 225-litre French oak barriques, half new and half one year old, plus bottle ageing.

Clos de l'Oratoire 2019 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Emilion, from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation and classified as Grand Cru Classé. The 2019 vintage is built around 81% Merlot with 19% Cabernet Franc, giving the wine a generous Merlot core while retaining the aromatic lift, structure and length associated here with Cabernet Franc.
The estate sits on the north-eastern slope of Saint-Emilion, with clay-limestone, molasse de Fronsac and clay-sand soils across its vineyards. For this vintage, the wine spent 30 days in cuvaison with extraction by pneumatic pigeage, followed by 16 months on fine lees in barriques, 50% of them new oak. It was bottled at the château in May 2021 without fining.

Château Belgrave 2014 is a dry red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, made as the grand vin of Château Belgrave in Saint-Laurent-Médoc. The estate is a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, yet the real interest in this bottle lies in its Médoc identity: gravel-based vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon at the core, and a style often linked to its position close to Saint-Julien.
The 2014 blend is built from 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. After a difficult start to the growing season, the vintage benefited from an exceptional late summer, particularly helpful for later-ripening varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

Frank Phelan 2020 is the second wine of Ch Phelan Segur in Saint-Estèphe, a red Bordeaux that shows another side of the same estate. It is named after Frank Phelan, son of Bernard Phelan, the founder of the domaine, and has been made alongside the grand vin since 1986.
The 2020 vintage is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit comes from the Ch Phelan Segur terroir, with clay and gravel soils over a limestone subsoil. The second wine is made with the same care as the main wine, while the selection brings out a rounder and more immediately approachable expression of Saint-Estèphe.

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Red 2022 is a red Burgundy from Marsannay, at the northern end of the Côte de Nuits. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it sits firmly in the village-wine tradition: expressive, fresh and focused more on finesse and texture than on weight.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Marsannay we like to introduce when someone wants Burgundy with clarity rather than heaviness. The Pinot Noir is described as organically farmed, without the wine being presented as certified organic. In the cellar, cold maceration and native yeasts are used, with a slow élevage on fine lees supporting a pure, fruit-led style.
The 2022 vintage is noted as warm and generous in the Côte de Nuits, and that comes through in the riper (…)Algueira Dolio 2020

Algueira Dolio 2020 is a dry red wine from Ribeira Sacra in Galicia, shaped by the steep terraced vineyards along the Sil. It is built around native Galician red varieties such as Mencía, Brancellao, Merenzao, Caáño and Sousón, giving it a profile that feels distinctly regional: fresh, precise and mineral rather than broad or heavy.
There is a strong sense of place behind this wine. Algueira is connected with the recovery of old terraces on the slopes of Doade and Abeleda, and Dolio comes from some of the estate's better terroirs. The winemaking is described as artisanal, with whole-cluster work, indigenous yeasts and ageing in French oak, including barriques and large foudres. The oak is noted as integrated and restrained, allowing the fruit, (…)Alter Ego 2022

Alter Ego 2022 is Château Palmer's Margaux interpreted in a deliberately different way from the estate's grand vin. Since the 1998 vintage, Alter Ego has been made as its own expression of the Palmer terroir rather than as a simple remainder selection. In 2022 the blend is 51% merlot, 43% cabernet sauvignon and 6% petit verdot, bringing together ripeness, structure and a discreet spicy accent.
The vintage came from a warm, dry growing season, with smaller berries and skins that contributed a clearly defined tannic frame. Palmer vinifies parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled conical vats. Ageing takes place in two stages: first in 225-litre barrels, less than half of them new, followed by time in large wooden foudres. The result is intended to show fruit (…)Alto De Cantenac Brown 2021

Alto De Cantenac Brown 2021

Alto De Cantenac Brown 2021 reveals a different side of Château Cantenac Brown: not a red Margaux, but a dry white Bordeaux Blanc from France. The château writes the name as AltO, a musical reference that sits alongside the domaine's other wines.
The 2021 blend is built on 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon, grown on a cool 1.80-hectare clay-limestone parcel. That gives the wine its fresh, focused backbone, while fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels add shape and texture. The oak plays a supporting role rather than dominating the wine.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is a particularly appealing bottle for anyone curious about white Bordeaux with energy, citrus brightness and a little extra breadth on the palate. Production is (…)Baron De Brane 2017

Baron de Brane 2017 is the second wine of Château Brane-Cantenac in Margaux. It comes from the same estate context as the grand vin, but it is shaped to be more approachable earlier, with emphasis on elegant fruit rather than the firmer, longer-ageing structure of the top wine.
The 2017 blend is led by merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with small additions of cabernet franc and carmenère. It spent 12 months in French oak barriques, including a proportion of new oak, adding polish and depth while keeping the wine's fruit-driven Margaux character in view.
The growing season at Brane-Cantenac was eventful, with spring frost affecting the region, although key plots on the Brane plateau and near Carabin were spared. A cooler summer helped retain (…)Baron De Brane 2017 Magnum (1,5l)

Baron de Brane 2017 is the second wine of Château Brane-Cantenac in Margaux, made by the same estate as the Deuxième Grand Cru Classé. Presented here in a 1.5-litre magnum, it has the presence of a wine meant for the table, while the larger format may develop more slowly than a standard bottle under good cellar conditions.
The 2017 blend combines Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and a small proportion of Carménère. It was vinified in wooden vats and stainless-steel tanks, then aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, 30% of them new. That places the wine firmly in the Brane-Cantenac world, with the approachability and estate character expected from its second wine.

Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2019 is a Tuscan red built around the clarity of Sangiovese. Released as Toscana IGT Rosso, it is the twentieth vintage of Testamatta and is made entirely from Sangiovese grown in five estate vineyards: Vincigliata, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena.
The strength of this wine lies in the way it brings together several parts of Tuscany. The grapes come from old vines, up to around 80 years of age, rooted in stony hillside soils at varying altitudes. Lamole and Montefili sit in the heart of Chianti Classico, while the other vineyards add fruit from near Florence, Londa and Siena. The aim is not heaviness, but purity, minerality and a transparent expression of the grape.

Bibi Graetz Testamatta Bianco 2021 is the white expression within the Testamatta line: a dry Tuscan white wine under Toscana Bianco IGT, made entirely from Ansonica. For this vintage, the fruit comes from the Serrone vineyard on Isola del Giglio, just off the Tuscan coast.
Serrone is set on sea-facing terraces in the south-east of the island, around 60 to 150 metres above sea level. Poor rocky granite soils, maritime winds and old Ansonica vines, described in the 2021 technical notes as up to around 100 years old, all feed into the wine's saline, mineral personality. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value this bottle for that clear island signature: it is Tuscan, but with the sea very close by.

Blanc D'Aiguilhe 2019 shows Bordeaux in a crisp, dry white expression made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. It comes from Château d'Aiguilhe in France and is released as AOC Bordeaux Blanc, although the estate itself is associated with Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux. The white cuvée has been produced since 2015, and the 2019 vintage stands out for its fresh, precise style.
The grapes were harvested on 17 and 18 September 2019. After pneumatic pressing, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, followed by six months of ageing: mostly in stainless steel, with a smaller part in oak barrels. That combination helps preserve the wine's energy while giving it a medium-bodied structure.

The 2019 vintage is made from 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. It carries the signature of a warm year, yet the château also points to warm days and cool nights during ripening, giving the wine ripe aromatics with freshness and tannic structure. Blason d'Issan 2020 is the second wine of Château d'Issan from Margaux in Bordeaux. It is made to be more approachable than the estate's grand vin, while still carrying the identity of the same appellation: selected fruit, parcel-by-parcel work and a classic red Bordeaux frame.
The 2020 blend brings together 57% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. That small share of Petit Verdot is worth noting, as 2020 was the first vintage in which it became part of Blason d'Issan, coming from parcels added to the estate through Pontac-Lynch. It gives this release a specific place in the recent story of the wine.

That gives the wine a clear Pomerol identity, shaped through fruit from several terroirs within the appellation.
The 2017 blend is 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, placing it firmly in Right Bank Bordeaux territory.
