Chateau D'Esclans Rock Angel Rose 2025

Rock Angel 2025 is a dry rosé from Provence, produced within the wine project linked to Château d'Esclans. In the Côtes de Provence rosé landscape, it sits in a more structured position than Whispering Angel, while keeping the pale, clear colour and polished Provençal style that make this category so recognisable.
The wine is built around Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle and Syrah, with fruit mainly from Château d'Esclans and selected vineyards around the Esclans valley and the wider Côtes de Provence area. The grapes are harvested cool to preserve freshness, followed by careful selection and low-oxidation winemaking. Fermentation and ageing take place partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel and partly in large French oak (…)Altano Douro Rosé 2024

Altano Douro Rosé 2024
Not available for shipping
Altano Douro Rosé 2024 presents the Douro Valley in a fresh, modern rosé style. Made by Symington under the Altano label, it is a pale, fruit-driven Portuguese rosé designed to be enjoyed young, with freshness at the centre of its personality.
Its production is aimed at keeping that bright character intact. The grapes are gently pressed, the varieties are fermented separately, and the final blend is put together to shape the desired colour, aroma and taste. Time in tank on fine lees, with weekly bâtonnage, gives the wine a little extra texture without taking away from its light and refreshing feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rosé for warm days and relaxed food moments: an aperitif, but also a good match for (…)Altano Douro Rosé 2025

Altano Douro Rosé 2025

Altano Douro Rosé 2025 brings out a fresh, bright side of Portugal's Douro Valley. It is made from Symington family vineyards, using regional grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão. The grapes are picked slightly earlier to keep a clear balance between ripe fruit and refreshing acidity.
Altitude is part of the story here. Many of the parcels are higher up in the Douro, helping the wine retain its natural lift. That mattered in the 2025 vintage, a year shaped by dry, hot conditions and then a cooler spell towards the end of summer. The yield was limited, but the fruit achieved good concentration while keeping its freshness.
In the cellar, the approach is all about clarity. Gentle pressing, controlled (…)Chateau D'Esclans Garrus Rose 2021

Chateau D'Esclans Garrus Rose 2021

Château d'Esclans Garrus Rosé 2021 shows a more serious side of Provence rosé. This dry, full-bodied wine from Côtes de Provence comes from the estate vineyards of Château d'Esclans, with a significant contribution from very old Grenache vines. Garrus is presented as the estate's top cuvée, made for depth, texture and presence rather than simple, easy-drinking freshness.
Its style is shaped by fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels, supported by regular bâtonnage to build body and a smoother finish. The 2021 vintage is described as powerful yet elegant, combining ripe fruit, spicy notes, refined oak influence and the freshness that keeps the wine precise.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Garrus as a (…)Chateau D'Esclans Les Clans Rose 2021

Chateau D'Esclans Les Clans Rose 2021

Château d'Esclans Les Clans 2021 shows the more serious side of Provence rosé. This is a dry, still wine from Côtes de Provence, made from grapes grown in the château's own vineyards. Selected parcels of old-vine Grenache, Vermentino and Syrah give it more depth and structure than a light, casual rosé.
The winemaking also points clearly towards a gastronomic style. The grapes are handled at low temperature to protect freshness, then fermented and matured in large French oak barrels, using a mix of new and used wood. Regular lees stirring adds body and a smooth texture, giving Les Clans its fuller, more layered feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this firmly among rosés for the table rather than rosés (…)Chateau D'Esclans Rose 2021

Chateau D'Esclans Rose 2021

Château d'Esclans Rosé 2021 is a dry Provençal rosé with a clear estate-grown identity. The wine comes entirely from Château d'Esclans' own vineyards and is bottled at the estate. Grenache and Rolle form the main foundation, giving the wine its Provençal freshness while leaving room for texture and structure.
A great deal of the character comes from the way the fruit is handled. The grapes are picked at night to avoid the heat of the day, then carefully sorted by hand and optical selection. Half of the juice is fermented and aged in stainless steel, the other half in 600-litre French oak demi-muids, with regular lees stirring. That combination keeps the wine bright, while adding a creamy, more layered feel.

Chateau D'Esclans The Pale Rosé 2025

Chateau D'Esclans The Pale Rosé 2025 is a dry rosé from Provence, from the Var region. It follows the pale, fresh Provençal style associated with The Pale: light in colour, fruit-driven and made to be served well chilled.
The wine carries the name of Sacha Lichine and belongs to the Château d'Esclans rosé range. For the 2025 vintage, Grenache, Rolle, Syrah and Cinsault are used, sourced from selected terroirs and vineyards in the Var. The grapes are harvested at night to limit oxidation and help preserve aromatic freshness.
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Softly pressed juices are selected for the blend, and the wine spends some time on its lees in stainless steel before bottling to (…)Collin Bourisset Incontournable Cinsault Rosé 2025

Collin Bourisset Incontournable Cinsault Rosé 2025

Collin Bourisset Incontournable Cinsault Rosé 2025 is a French rosé from Pays d'Oc, with Cinsault as the stated grape. In the L'Incontournable range, Maison Collin-Bourisset focuses on wines that respect the character of each grape variety, with an emphasis on fruit purity, elegance and roundness.
The range is built around a small selection of winegrowers working with Collin-Bourisset across different French regions. For this rosé, that points to a straightforward and clearly defined Pays d'Oc wine: young, French, centred on Cinsault and presented without unnecessary technical embellishment.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among French rosés for those looking for a wine with a modest 12% alcohol level and a style (…)Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Rose 2023

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Rose 2023

Domaine Charlopin Tissier Marsannay Rosé 2023 shows a distinctive side of Burgundy. It comes from Marsannay in the Côte de Nuits, under the Marsannay Rosé AOC, an appellation where rosé has its own recognised place alongside red and white wines.
Made entirely from pinot noir, the grapes come from the Combe du Pré parcel in Marsannay, with clay over Kimmeridgian subsoil. The wine is made without maceration, fermented in a 13 hl foudre and 600-litre oak barrels, then aged for 7 months. Rather than aiming for obvious oak influence, it focuses on the finer side of Bourgogne rosé: red fruit, freshness and a precise, delicate structure.
The domaine was founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier and is based in (…)Quinta Da Fonte Souto Rose 2022

Quinta Da Fonte Souto Rose 2022

Quinta da Fonte Souto Rosé 2022 shows a fresher side of the Alentejo. Rather than coming from the warmer plains, it comes from the slopes of Portalegre in the Alto Alentejo, close to the Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede. The vineyards sit at around 490 to 550 metres above sea level, where the cooler and more humid conditions play an important role in the wine's style.
This rosé belongs to Symington Family Estates' Quinta da Fonte Souto project, their first wine estate outside the Douro. It is made entirely from Aragonez, sourced from a small experimental planting on the estate's hillside vineyards. The grapes were picked early to preserve natural acidity, then handled with precision in the cellar: hand selection, gentle pressing and low-temperature (…)Quinta Da Fonte Souto Rose 2024

Quinta da Fonte Souto Rose 2024 shows a fresher, more precise side of Portugal's Alentejo. It comes from the Portalegre area, close to the Serra de São Mamede, where Quinta da Fonte Souto's vineyards sit at roughly 490 to 550 metres above sea level. That higher, cooler setting is an important part of the wine's identity and helps explain its lively, aromatic style.
Made entirely from Aragonês, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully handled at the estate. The winemaking focuses on freshness rather than heavy extraction: gentle pressing, cool fermentation in stainless steel and a deliberate effort to preserve the purity of the fruit. A modest 15% of the final blend spends six months in third-use barrels, adding structure without pushing the oak to the (…)Whispering Angel 2023

Whispering Angel 2023 is a dry rosé from Provence, made in the Côtes de Provence AOC by Caves d'Esclans, the producer connected with Château d'Esclans. It is the best-known cuvée in the producer's range, and its identity is very clear: pale in colour, fresh in expression and shaped around the clean, fruit-driven style that has made Provençal rosé so recognisable.
Grenache forms the heart of the blend, supported by Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle and Carignan. The winemaking is built around freshness rather than oak influence. Grapes are harvested at night, carefully selected and handled at low temperature, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Whispering Angel 2023 in 12 litres is the familiar Côtes de Provence rosé in an impressive Balthazar format. It is not a separate cuvée, but the large bottle changes the way the wine is experienced: generous, convivial and made for a table where rosé is shared rather than simply poured.
Produced by Caves d'Esclans / Château d'Esclans, associated with Sacha Lichine, this 2023 vintage comes from selected vineyards in and around the Esclans valley and nearby parts of the Côtes de Provence. The reported blend is led by Grenache, with Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle/Vermentino and Carignan adding to the Provençal profile.

For the 2023 vintage, the blend is led by Grenache with Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle and Carignan. It comes from Château d'Esclans / Caves d'Esclans, with Sacha Lichine at the helm after acquiring the estate in 2006. The 2025 release carries an extra note of context, as the producer presents it as the twentieth vintage of Whispering Angel.
The wine sits firmly in the pale, dry Provence style: fresh, polished and centred on fruit rather than weight. The blend is built mainly around Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino, with Syrah also mentioned.
