Château Montlandrie 2021 is a red Bordeaux from Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux, on the Right Bank to the east of Saint-Émilion. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is the sort of bottle we like to introduce when someone is looking for Bordeaux with structure, freshness and a clear limestone-driven identity.
The estate belongs to the Durantou family. Denis Durantou purchased Château Montlandrie in 2009, and after his passing in 2020 the work has been continued by his daughters, Noémie and Constance. That background gives the wine a sense of place and direction: this is Castillon with a defined house perspective rather than a generic Bordeaux label.
The 2021 blend is 75% merlot, 20% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon, grown on (…)Clos Lunelles 2022

Clos Lunelles 2022 is a red Bordeaux from Bordeaux Côtes de Castillon, shaped by a Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in support. Its vineyard lies on the Sainte-Colombe plateau, the highest point of the Côtes de Castillon, on clay-limestone soils over limestone with fossil starfish deposits.
That setting is central to the wine's identity. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, then vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by ageing in a mix of new barrels and one-year-old barrels. The result is a concentrated right-bank Bordeaux style, built around ripe dark fruit, firm structure, mineral tension and a measured spicy oak influence.

Clos Puy Arnaud 2022
In stock
Clos Puy Arnaud 2022 is the red Grand Vin of Clos Puy Arnaud from Castillon on Bordeaux's Right Bank. It comes from a biodynamically and organically farmed estate in Belvès-de-Castillon, with vineyards rooted in clay-limestone soils and vines averaging around thirty years of age.
The 2022 blend is led by merlot, supported by cabernet franc and a small share of cabernet sauvignon. The grapes are hand harvested and handled by gravity, with natural fermentation at low temperature. Ageing takes place in barrels, demi-muids and jars, with only a modest amount of new oak, followed by further blending time in unlined cement vats. That restrained use of oak helps keep the focus on fruit, freshness and tannin quality.
