Chateau Chantegrive Cuvee Caroline 2022

Chateau Chantegrive Cuvee Caroline 2022 is a dry white wine from Graves in Bordeaux, with more substance and depth than a straightforward crisp white. First created in 1988, Cuvée Caroline is the estate's oak-fermented and oak-aged white Graves, built around texture, ripe fruit and freshness.
The 2022 blend is 50% sémillon, 45% sauvignon blanc and 5% sauvignon gris. The grapes come from vineyards with gravel, rolled stones, fine sand and clay-limestone soils. After hand harvesting and a cold pre-fermentation phase, the wine ferments and matures on fine lees in French oak barriques, half of them new. Nine months of ageing with regular bâtonnage help explain the combination of creaminess, roundness and citrus-driven tension.

Château de Chantegrive Cuvée Caroline 2022 in magnum is a white Graves with a distinctly gastronomic ambition. This dry white Bordeaux from France is made from sémillon, sauvignon blanc and a small proportion of sauvignon gris. Cuvée Caroline was created at the estate in 1988 as its oak-aged white cuvée, with fermentation and nine months of ageing on fine lees in French barriques, supported by regular bâtonnage.
The result is a style built around texture, freshness and a clear sense of place. The lees ageing and barrel work give the wine more breadth, while citrus freshness and a mineral impression keep it lively. In the 1.5 litre magnum format, the 2022 vintage has a natural table presence, especially alongside seafood, shellfish or (…)Chateau Haura 2020

Chateau Haura 2020

Château Haura 2020 is a dry red Graves from Bordeaux with a clearly traditional left-bank feel. It comes from Illats and belongs to Domaines Denis Dubourdieu. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon at 60%, supported by 40% Merlot, so the wine has structure, tannin and a smoky Graves edge, softened by the rounder texture of Merlot.
The vineyards are planted on the gravel-rich soils associated with Graves. In the cellar, the wine is made in stainless steel with gentle extraction, then matured for 12 months in barriques, including a proportion of new oak. That maturation supports the wine's frame without taking attention away from its dark fruit, freshness and mineral character.

Chateau Puy Boyrein 2020 Blanc is a dry white wine from Graves in Bordeaux, made from Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. That blend places it firmly in the world of white Graves: aromatic, fresh and structured enough to move comfortably from aperitif to the table.
The estate is based in Roaillan, in the southern part of Graves close to the Sauternais. The area is known for its gravelly soils, and Puy Boyrein is also associated with clay and gravel. That background suits a wine built around citrus brightness, but with more texture than a purely light, simple white.
Production details point in the same direction: a short skin contact before pressing, temperature-controlled handling and ageing on fine lees. The wine is bottled at the estate roughly six (…)Chateau Puy Boyrein Red 2021

Château Puy Boyrein Rouge 2021 is a dry red wine from Graves, within Bordeaux. It is built from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with Merlot taking the leading role in the blend. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents itself as a Bordeaux with a measured, food-friendly character rather than a heavy style.
The estate is located in Roaillan, in the southern part of Graves, where the vineyards are planted on clay and gravel soils. The grapes are destemmed and crushed before fermentation, with daily pump-overs and controlled temperatures. Ageing then takes place in cool underground vats before bottling at the estate. That production path keeps the focus on fruit, freshness and a supple structure.

Chateau Rahoul Blanc 2022
In stock
Château Rahoul Blanc 2022 is a dry white Graves from Bordeaux with sémillon very much at the centre of the blend. For this vintage, the wine is made from 87% sémillon and 13% sauvignon blanc, giving it a style built on texture, ripe white and yellow fruit, and a citrus freshness that keeps the wine precise.
The white grapes come from Château Rahoul's Graves vineyards, planted on sandy-gravel and clay-gravel soils. They are hand-harvested, then pressed under inert atmosphere to help preserve freshness and aromatic detail. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by around eight months of ageing on fine lees with bâtonnage. That lees and barrel work gives the wine more breadth and mouthfeel than a simple crisp white Bordeaux.

Château Rahoul Rouge 2016 Magnum is a red Graves from Bordeaux in the generous 1.5-litre format. It is the red grand vin of Château Rahoul, an estate in Portets with a history dating back to 1646. The 2016 vintage saw a wet period followed by extended drought, with warm and sunny weather in the second half of September helping the red wines develop colour, tannin and concentration.
The blend is led by merlot, supported by cabernet sauvignon and a small proportion of petit verdot. The grapes come from sandy gravel and clay-gravel soils in Graves, and the estate works separately by grape variety and soil type. Manual sorting, a cold pre-fermentation maceration and 12 months in barriques, with a moderate share of new oak, all form part of the wine's production.

Chateau Rahoul Rouge 2022 is a red Graves from Bordeaux with merlot at the centre of the blend. The 2022 vintage is made from 59% merlot, 36% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petit verdot, giving a wine built around ripe dark fruit, structure and a savoury, spicy depth. It is the main red wine of Chateau Rahoul, from the Graves area, where sandy gravel and clay-gravel soils shape the style.
The grapes are vinified in separate lots in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with cold pre-fermentation maceration used for selected parcels. The wine then spends 12 months on fine lees in oak barrels, 18% of them new. That ageing adds another layer to the fruit: discreet wood influence, earthy tones and a firmer Graves character.

Chateau Rahoul White 2020

Chateau Rahoul Wit 2020 is a dry white wine from Graves in Bordeaux, and it is the estate's white grand vin. White wine represents only a small part of Château Rahoul's vineyards, so this bottle has a more particular role within the domaine's range.
The 2020 vintage is made from 53% Sémillon and 47% Sauvignon Blanc. That combination is central to the wine's personality: Sémillon gives texture, shape and a slightly waxy depth, while Sauvignon Blanc brings freshness and aromatic lift. The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool of the morning and handled carefully to limit oxidation.
Fermentation takes place in oak barriques, followed by around 8 to 9 months on fine lees with regular bâtonnage. The result is a white Graves with more (…)Clos Floridene Blanc 2020

Clos Floridene Blanc 2020 is a dry white Graves from Bordeaux, made as a classic white Bordeaux blend with sauvignon blanc as the leading variety, supported by sémillon and a small touch of muscadelle. It comes from Clos Floridene near Pujols-sur-Ciron, the estate developed from 1982 onwards by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu. Even the name carries that personal origin, combining elements of their first names.
The appeal of this wine lies in the way freshness and structure meet. Sauvignon blanc gives the wine its citrus-driven aromatic lift, while sémillon adds roundness and substance. Fermentation and maturation take place in barriques and wooden vats, followed by 9 months on the lees with regular bâtonnage, adding texture without making the wine feel (…)Clos Floridene Blanc 2021

Clos Floridene Blanc 2021 is a dry white Graves from Bordeaux, made by Denis Dubourdieu Domaines. The estate in Pujols-sur-Ciron was built up from 1982 by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu, and the name Clos Floridene itself comes from their first names. In the 2021 vintage, the blend is led by Sauvignon Blanc at 75%, with Sémillon making up the remaining 25%.
Its interest lies in the way freshness is given shape and texture. The white vineyards are associated with limestone-rich soils, the grapes are hand harvested, and the juice is handled carefully under protection from oxidation. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by 8 months on the lees with regular bâtonnage. That explains the wine's combination of citrus-driven energy, structure and a gentle (…)Clos Floridene Blanc 2022

Clos Floridene Blanc 2022 is a dry white Graves from Bordeaux, made at the Pujols-sur-Ciron estate built up since 1982 by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu. The name Floridene comes from Florence and Denis, giving the wine a personal link to the people behind the domaine.
For this vintage, the blend is 57% Sauvignon Blanc and 43% Sémillon. Much of the vineyard sits on red, iron-rich clayey sand over limestone, with a smaller section on a clay and gravel ridge in Illats. That origin helps explain the wine's firm, fresh and mineral line, especially in a warm Bordeaux vintage such as 2022.
The grapes are hand-harvested at aromatic ripeness. After careful juice extraction and natural settling, fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by eight months on (…)Clos Floridene Blanc 2022 Magnum (1,5l)

Clos Floridene Blanc 2022 in magnum is a dry white Graves from Bordeaux, made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The wine comes from vineyards around Pujols-sur-Ciron and Illats, where limestone, clayey sand, iron oxide, gravel and clay help shape a white wine with freshness, structure and a clear mineral line.
The estate was built from 1982 onwards by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu, and the name Clos Floridene brings their first names together. That background matters here, as Denis Dubourdieu was closely associated with the reputation of dry white Bordeaux. The 2022 vintage reflects that approach: precise, fresh, textured and capable of being enjoyed young while still having the structure for further bottle ageing.
