Château Belgrave 2014 is a dry red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, made as the grand vin of Château Belgrave in Saint-Laurent-Médoc. The estate is a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, yet the real interest in this bottle lies in its Médoc identity: gravel-based vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon at the core, and a style often linked to its position close to Saint-Julien.
The 2014 blend is built from 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. After a difficult start to the growing season, the vintage benefited from an exceptional late summer, particularly helpful for later-ripening varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

Ceres 2021

Ceres 2021 is a red Haut-Médoc with a distinct identity alongside the Pauillac wines of Château Haut-Bages Libéral. Officially referred to as Ceres de Haut-Bages Libéral 2021, it comes from an 8-hectare vineyard in Vertheuil, north of Pauillac, planted on clay-limestone soil. The wine is made entirely from Merlot, with an emphasis on freshness, suppleness and a direct expression of fruit rather than weight.
What makes this cuvée particularly interesting is the thinking behind the vineyard. The producer describes organic and biodynamic farming, Demeter grapes, cover crops and around 1000 planted trees to encourage biodiversity and soil life. Even the label, designed by artist and landscape architect François Houtin, reflects that (…)Chateau Beaumont 2016 Magnum (1,5l)

Château Beaumont 2016 Magnum is a red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, bottled here in the generous 1.5 litre format. A magnum changes the mood of a bottle: it feels more suited to the table, to sharing, and to occasions where Bordeaux is meant to be part of the conversation rather than just poured in the background.
The 2016 vintage at Château Beaumont had a distinctive rhythm. A rainy start to the year was followed by four very dry months before and during the harvest period, with September rain helping the grapes regain balance. Harvest ran from 29 September to 20 October, at the time the longest harvest period in the history of this wine. The final blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot, bringing structure, (…)Chateau Beaumont 2020 Demi (37,5cl)

Château Beaumont 2020 in half-bottle format is a dry red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, produced on the Left Bank in Cussac-Fort-Médoc. The 37.5 cl size gives it a very useful place at the table: a classic Médoc-style wine without opening a full bottle.
The 2020 vintage was an early one. A mild, dry winter was followed by a warm, wet spring and then a hot, dry, windy summer, giving lower yields and more concentrated grapes. The blend brings together cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot: ripe fruit from the merlot, structure and fine tannins from the cabernet sauvignon, and black fruit with freshness from the petit verdot. Château Beaumont is referred to as a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur and works according to integrated viticulture, (…)Chateau Beaumont 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Very last one in stock!
Château Beaumont 2020 Magnum is a red Haut-Médoc from Bordeaux, produced by a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur estate in Cussac-Fort-Médoc. Its vineyards lie on the Left Bank of the Gironde, between Margaux and Saint-Julien, on deep, well-draining gravel soils that suit the structured Médoc style.
The 2020 blend brings together cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Cabernet sauvignon gives the wine its framework, merlot adds roundness, while petit verdot contributes colour and spice. Ageing in French oak barriques is present but deliberately restrained, supporting the fruit rather than covering it.
In magnum, this Château Beaumont has a particularly attractive table presence. The larger format also tends to develop more (…)Chateau Beaumont 2021

Chateau Beaumont 2021 is a red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, produced at a property in Cussac-Fort-Médoc on the left bank of the Gironde. This is the château's first wine, not the second label Les Tours de Beaumont, and it falls within the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur classification for this period.
The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. That Cabernet emphasis suits the style of the 2021 vintage: fresh, structured and classically Médoc rather than broad or opulent. Bordeaux had a cool and challenging growing season, and Beaumont also faced spring frost, particularly affecting Merlot. Sunshine from August onward helped bring fruit clarity, phenolic ripeness and fine tannins.

Château Beaumont 2021 in half-bottle format is a red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc, offering the same wine in a practical 37.5 cl size. The estate is based in Cussac-Fort-Médoc on the left bank of the Gironde, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. As a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, it sits firmly in classic Médoc territory, with cabernet sauvignon setting the tone.
The 2021 vintage gave Beaumont a slightly different blend from usual. Spring frost particularly affected the merlot, so cabernet sauvignon takes a larger role here: 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot and 5% petit verdot. That explains the wine's structured feel, while the producer highlights freshness, fruit and silky tannins as key elements of the vintage.

Château Beaumont 2021 Magnum is a red Haut-Médoc from France, bottled in the generous 1.5 litre format. The estate is based in Cussac-Fort-Médoc on the left bank of the Gironde, and the wine is classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.
For the 2021 vintage, Château Beaumont worked with a notably Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The estate describes this as an atypical blend for Beaumont. Spring frost particularly affected the Merlot, while the sunny conditions from August onwards helped bring phenolic ripeness, softness and clarity to the grapes.
In the cellar, the approach centres on gentle, selective extraction, followed by ageing in French oak barriques. The oak is meant to (…)Chateau Beaumont 2022

In this vintage the cabernet sauvignon share is 65%, higher than usual for the wine, giving a sense of structure, dark fruit and the graphite-like character often associated with this style of Médoc.
The estate is based in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. Its vineyards are planted on deep gravel soils and sandy Günz gravel rises, with the nearby Gironde helping to moderate the climate. The vineyard lies on the edge of the Saint-Julien appellation, with deep gravel ridges over clay, alongside gravel-sand soils and clay-rich parcels. For the 2016 vintage, the grapes were hand-harvested in small crates and optically sorted. The wine then matured for 12 to 14 months in French oak barriques on fine lees.

Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. That composition suits the château's gravel and silica-rich soils: Cabernet Sauvignon provides the structure and ageing potential, while the other varieties add fruit, roundness, freshness and spicy detail. The 2022 growing season was shaped by extremes. A severe hailstorm affected a significant part of the vineyard, leaving lower yields behind. The remaining grapes were harvested entirely by hand and carefully selected, giving the wine a naturally concentrated dark-fruited core.

The 2019 vintage was shaped by careful selection. The grapes came from estate vineyards with an average vine age of 35 years, grown on gravelly-sandy soils with limestone as well as clay-limestone plots. The harvest involved strict parcel selection and sorting, both in the vineyard and on the sorting table, giving the wine a sense of precision rather than simple weight.
