Château Beaumont 2021 Magnum is a red Haut-Médoc from France, bottled in the generous 1.5 litre format. The estate is based in Cussac-Fort-Médoc on the left bank of the Gironde, and the wine is classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.For the 2021 vintage, Château Beaumont worked with a notably Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The estate describes this as an atypical blend for Beaumont. Spring frost particularly affected the Merlot, while the sunny conditions from August onwards helped bring phenolic ripeness, softness and clarity to the grapes.
