Chateau Clement Pichon 2019 is a red Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc and carries the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur classification for this vintage. The estate is located in Parempuyre, in the southern part of the Médoc, and belongs to Vignobles Clément Fayat. In the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, it stands out as a classic Médoc with a Merlot-led sense of generosity.The blend is 73% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. That composition gives the wine its contrast: ripe dark fruit and a rounded core from Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure. It spent 12 months ageing in a mix of new barrels, one-wine barrels and vats, so the oak notes of cedar, toast and spice are present but described as well integrated.

Château Clëment Pichon is a winery from the Haut-Mëdoc region, north of Bordeaux in France. The estate has a history dating back to the 17th century, although the current castle in neo-Renaissance style dates from the 19th century. The vineyards of Château Clëment Pichon are located on the left bank of the Gironde river and benefit from the characteristic, gravel-rich soil typical of the Haut-Mëdoc. The estate covers an area of approximately 25 hectares, mainly cultivating classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine style is usually characterized by a fine balance between fruit, power and freshness, with Merlot often playing an important role in the blends. Château Clëment Pichon is classified as Cru Bourgeois, a label for high-quality wines from the Médoc outside the famous 1855 classification.
