Prunier is a cognac house with roots dating back to the 18th century and has been producing various styles of cognac in the French region of Charente for generations. The house is based in the city of Cognac, the heart of the appellation of the same name, and is known for its careful selection and maturation of eaux-de-vie sourced from different crus within the cognac area. Prunier remains a family business to this day and is managed by descendants of the founders, which contributes to the preservation of traditional values in the production process. The cognacs are often aged in old oak barrels in the cellars in Cognac, where the craftsmanship and character of the region are clearly evident in the final blends. Prunier offers a wide range, with both young, vibrant expressions and well-aged, complex bottlings.
