Chateau Beaumont 2022 Magnum is a red Haut-Médoc from Bordeaux, bottled here in the generous 1.5-litre format. It comes from Château Beaumont in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, on the left bank of the Gironde between the Margaux and Saint-Julien areas. The estate is classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, and the 2022 blend is led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot and a small proportion of petit verdot.The 2022 vintage was shaped by warm, dry conditions. Château Beaumont describes the grapes as concentrated and ripe, while the wine retained freshness. Gentle, selective extraction and 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, around 30% of them new, give the wine its firm structure, dark-fruited depth and integrated spicy oak tone.
