Maison Charlopin Tissier Bourgogne Côte d'Or White 2022 is a dry white Burgundy made entirely from Chardonnay, from the regional Bourgogne appellation with the Côte d'Or geographical indication. It speaks clearly of Burgundy, yet in a way that remains approachable: precise, fresh and shaped by careful ageing rather than by overt oak.The wine comes from Domaine Charlopin Tissier in Morey-Saint-Denis, founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier. The estate is described as small-scale, with vineyards farmed according to organic principles. For this cuvée, Chardonnay from old vines is aged for 16 months on fine lees in 400-litre barrels, with less than 20% new oak. That detail matters in the glass: the wine has texture and depth, but the fruit and mineral freshness stay in focus.
