Whether you are looking for a nice gift for under the Christmas tree, a New Year gift or a birthday present: a bottle of liquor is high on many people's wish list. But how do you wrap something like that beautifully?
Gift packs
A first logical choice, of course, are gift packs or gift sets. These are festive packaging that has already been put together by the producer himself. It is often a combination of a top reference within the range, combined with a nice extra like a glass or an accessory. Moreover, it is packaged in a unique gift box. All in one!

Individual bottles
But of course, a lot of enthusiasts are not at their experimental stage and already know the standard references from the gift packaging. For them, as a gift giver, you want to go the extra mile. But how do you make sure you can still deliver your bottle to the lucky one in a somewhat festive way? We would like to show you with some nice examples.
Bags in linen, cotton or jute - simple but effective!
First up are our basic, unprinted bags in linen or jute. Jute immediately gives a slightly rougher, more traditional look that goes very well with wine bottles, whereas cotton and linen bags have a softer texture.
You will find a number of references in our webshop in two sizes. Moreover, we have also provided a nice Christmas motif especially for Christmas.
If you opt for a bottle without a box or tube, the standard 16x37cm bottle bags are generally fine. These bags will fit most bottles up to 75cl. If you opt for a bottle that comes in a box or tube, then you should go for the larger 30x40cm bag.
These fabric bags are also perfectly reusable afterwards: you can keep your jewellery in them, use them as a stuff or toiletry bag, etc. This makes these bags a better and more sustainable choice than the classic cardboard gift bags, which are often difficult to re-use.
Velvet - just that little extra spark to your gift
If you would like to go a step further, velvet bags are an excellent choice. In terms of size, they are identical to the ones above, but thanks to the velvet fabric, they feel hugely luxurious. With a bottle in a velvet pouch, you go completely next-level!
For Christmas, you can also opt for Santa's real bag: velvet, red and with Santa's sleigh on it, there is no doubt who has put the nicest present under the Christmas tree this year!
The velvet bags are also perfectly reusable afterwards: you can store your jewellery in them, use them as a stuff or toiletry bag, ... This makes these bags a better and more sustainable choice than the classic cardboard gift bags, which are often difficult to re-use.
What about larger bottles?
Currently, we do not offer bags for bottles larger than 75cl. In principle, a 1-litre bottle will of course fit into a smaller bag, but in that case the neck of the bottle will protrude a bit above the bag.

I've known Broekmans since I graduated in 2006 and thanks to Jan I've come to know the passion for spirits. I dedicate myself every day to the webshop, customer service and all the IT involved. In my spare time, besides whiskey, I can also really enjoy rum, but just as much as a gin tonic or a simple bellini. In the words of Martien Meiland, if there's no alcohol in it, don't call me!
