Frapin is a cognac house from France that is entirely dedicated to producing cognac from the Grande Champagne, the core region of the Cognac area. For over twenty generations, the Frapin family has been involved in grape cultivation and the distillation of cognac. The house is located in the village of Segonzac and owns an extensive vineyard area, giving them complete control over the production process, from the grape to the final cognac. Frapin uses only Ugni Blanc grapes from their own vineyards; these are traditionally distilled on the lees and then aged in French oak barrels. The brand is known for its elegant and subtle style, and all cognacs are Single Estate, which means the entire production comes from their own estate. The range includes cognacs of various ages, from young VSOP to more complex XO and older expressions that have been aged for several decades.
