About PRUNIER
Prunier is a cognac house from France with roots dating back to the mid-18th century. The brand is often associated with the city of Cognac, where the Prunier family has been active in the trade and production of cognac for generations. Unlike some larger houses, Prunier has remained an independent family business, which sets their approach apart. They not only work with their own stocks but also select eaux-de-vie from various producers in the Cognac region. This allows them to offer a wide palette of styles and ages. Prunier is known for bottling cognac without excessive filtering, which contributes to preserving character and complexity in their expressions. Their range includes classic VS, VSOP, and XO cognacs, as well as older and rarer bottlings. Due to their focus on craftsmanship and traditional production methods, Prunier mainly appeals to enthusiasts who are looking for authentic and less industriële cognac. While the brand is available internationally, production remains relatively small-scale and the emphasis is on quality and individuality within the range.
