Bottled at 40% alcohol, it stays within the classic strength expected for cognac.
As these are the last bottles, it is a bottle to consider while it is still part of the selection.

About CLAUDE THORIN
Claude Thorin is a French cognac house from the Grande Champagne region, the heart of the officiële Cognac area. The brand is linked to a family business that has been growing grapes and distilling its own eaux-de-vie on its own estate for generations. The vineyards of Claude Thorin cover a significant area in Grande Champagne, a region known for its chalky soil and its ability to produce elegant, long-ageing cognacs. The range includes different ages, such as VS, VSOP, and XO, with which the house particularly emphasizes the classic, subtly fruity and floral style of the region. As with many smaller cognac houses, the focus is on artisanal production methods, with attention to detail in both distillation and the ageing process in oak barrels. By using grapes from one of the most highly regarded cru's within Cognac, Claude Thorin manages to create characterful cognacs that appeal to enthusiasts who prefer a refined, pure style without excessive wood influence. The bottles of this brand are mainly found at specialty stores and among fans of small-scale producers, giving the brand a place among the traditional names in the Cognac world.
