About GABRIEL & ASSOCIES
Alexandre Gabriel and cellar master Christian Guerin from Cognac Pierre Ferrand collaborate with smaller cognac producers in the Charente to ensure that their cognacs can be bottled and sold under their own name. The result is called G&A, which originally stood for Gabriel and Andreu and now for Gabriel & Associës. Every bottle mentions the original producer of the cognac to give them the visibility they deserve. Because of the significant investments required for in-house cognac production, many small winegrowers struggle with distilling, aging, blending, and bottling their own cognacs and are instead forced to sell their grapes or distilled eaux-de-vie to larger cognac houses. The house of Ferrand offers them the opportunity to produce their cognac entirely themselves up to bottling, giving cognac enthusiasts the chance to experience a whole new range of cognacs from lesser-known producers that would not otherwise exist.
