Damrak is a Dutch gin brand originating from Amsterdam, produced by Lucas Bols, one of the oldest distillers in the world. The name Damrak refers to the famous street and the historic harbor area in the center of Amsterdam, where much trade took place since the Golden Age. Damrak Gin is made in the traditional distillery of Bols and is known for its accessible, fresh style with a pronounced citrus character. In contrast to many London Dry gins, Damrak places less emphasis on juniper and more on orange and other citrus fruits, resulting in a smooth and fruity taste. The production process includes multiple distillations of various botanicals, including coriander, angelica root, and cinnamon, which together create the distinctive balance of flavor.
