About RIVO
Rivo is an Italian gin that is produced at Lake Como, in the north of Italy. The gin has been made since 2016 by the Redaelli De Zinis family, who were inspired for the recipe by the local botanicals from the area around the lake. For Rivo, hand-picked wild herbs and plants from the region are used, including thyme, bay leaf, lemon balm and special types of mint, which contribute to the gin's distinctive spicy and fresh character. Production takes place in small batches using traditional copper stills. The brand emphasizes craftsmanship and local origin, with cooperation with herbal experts from the region playing a central role. Rivo Gin is the best-known in their range and is often presented as a base for cocktails due to its refined flavor profile that reflects the Mediterranean character of Lake Como.
