About TENIS
Tenis is a Spanish pastis that originates from Catalonia, a region with a long tradition of anise drinks. Although pastis as a drink is mainly known thanks to France, Tenis has developed in Spain into a recognizable brand that fits within the local food culture, especially around the Mediterranean Sea. The brand is particularly popular in the summer months, when pastis is often diluted with cold water and served as a refreshing aperitif. Tenis distinguishes itself by a characteristic flavor in which anise clearly plays the leading role, supported by subtle botanical notes that suit the traditional pastis style. The production relies on proven methods with an emphasis on carefully balancing aromas, something to which Spanish producers of anise drinks have historically attached great importance. In Spain, Tenis is especially valued for its direct, classic approach to pastis, without unnecessary embellishments. The range mainly focuses on traditional pastis, usually packaged in characteristic bottles that fit well with the image of this simple, yet authentic anise drink. In this way, Tenis offers a familiar and accessible choice for lovers of anise drinks, both in Spain and abroad.
