About BOLS
Bols is a historic name within the Dutch spirits industry and is among the oldest still existing distilled brands in the world. The brand originates in Amsterdam and is especially known for its wide range of liqueurs, but also produces other strong drinks, including vodka. The products of Bols are made by Lucas Bols, a company with roots going back to the seventeenth century. Although Bols vodkas are often appreciated for their approachable character, simple purity, and their role as a base for various cocktails, the brand itself is mainly known for offering a broad, accessible assortment aimed at a wide audience. The Bols vodka is generally distilled in a modern, neutral style, without pronounced botanical influences or strong flavor profiles that are characteristic of other products within the Bols range, such as genever or herbal liqueurs. Those who are looking for an accessible and affordable vodka from Dutch production will find with Bols a trusted offering that is suitable for various uses, from drinking straight to mixing and shaking in cocktails.
