Chateau Nenin 2019 is the Grand Vin of this Pomerol estate, offered here in a 1.5 litre magnum. It is a dry, still red Bordeaux blend from France, made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, with the depth of Pomerol shaped by freshness and a refined tannic frame.The wine comes from the Pomerol plateau, where deep gravel, clay and iron-rich soils all play a role. The 2019 season was marked by contrasts: a mild dry winter, a cold spring with recurring frost pressure, and a warm to very hot summer with cool nights and some rainfall. Careful intra-parcel selection was used, and the wine matured in French barriques, 45% of them new.
In the Drankenshop Broekmans range, this is a Pomerol for drinkers who appreciate Bordeaux with structure, concentration and cellar potential, while still valuing precision over sheer weight. Published tasting notes consistently point to fruit depth, mineral tension and a composed, almost Médoc-like structure. Only the last bottles of this magnum remain available.

About CH NENIN
Château Nenin is a winery from the Pomerol appellation, located on the right bank of Bordeaux in France. The estate belongs to the classic producers of this region, where mainly red wines are made with a dominant share of merlot, supplemented by cabernet franc and sometimes a small amount of cabernet sauvignon. Château Nenin has a history that dates back to the nineteenth century, with a distinctive feature being that it has long been owned by families closely connected to the region. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family, who are also known for Château Leoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien. The vineyards of Château Nenin are situated on clay and gravel soils, conditions considered particularly suitable for the typical Pomerol grapes. The winery is known for an elegant style with a refined structure and ageing potential. In addition to the grand vin, this house also produces a second wine under the name Fugue de Nenin. In the international wine world, Château Nenin is regularly appreciated for its consistently high quality, though it does not belong to the most famous names of Pomerol such as Pëtrus or Le Pin. Still, enthusiasts value the wines of Château Nenin for their characteristic balance and reliability.
