Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2020 is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru built around the limestone identity of the estate. This is the château's grand vin, from vineyards around Saint-Martin de Mazerat, where clay-limestone soils and limestone with fossilised starfish help shape the wine's freshness, tension and mineral impression.The blend is firmly rooted in the Right Bank style: 85% merlot, 13% cabernet franc and 2% cabernet sauvignon. The grapes were hand-harvested in September 2020 after a vintage marked by a mild winter, a wet spring, a hot dry summer and August rains that helped complete ripening. In the cellar, the emphasis was on selection, gentle extraction and parcel-by-parcel vinification, followed by 16 months of ageing. Part of the wine matured in new French oak, with the remainder raised in tanks, amphorae and larger wooden vessels.

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is a wine brand from the French Bordeaux, specifically located in the renowned wine region of Saint-Émilion on the right bank of the Dordogne. The origins of the estate date back to the 18th century, but the name Beau-Séjour was added in the 19th century by Michel Bécot, who acquired the château in 1969.
