Matarromera Crianza 2019 is a dry red wine from D.O. Ribera del Duero, produced by Bodega Matarromera in Valbuena de Duero. It comes from Castilla y León and is made entirely from Tempranillo, known locally as Tinto Fino. The fruit is sourced from vineyards close to the Duero river, around Olivares de Duero and Valbuena de Duero in Valladolid.The 2019 vintage was officially rated Excelente by the D.O. Ribera del Duero, and the wine's style reflects that sense of ripeness and depth. Matarromera Crianza 2019 spends 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by further bottle ageing before release. That ageing gives the wine its Crianza identity: ripe dark fruit remains central, while spice, structure and polished oak influence add shape and detail.

Matarromera is a Spanish winery that has its origins in the prestigious Ribera del Duero wine region. It was founded in 1988 by Carlos Moro, who comes from a family with a long winemaking tradition.
