Château Gazin 2021 Demi presents the Pomerol grand vin in a practical 37.5 cl half bottle. It is a thoughtful format when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle, particularly for a smaller dinner or a carefully matched dish.For Gazin, 2021 is notable because the grand vin was made entirely from Merlot. The growing season was cooler and wetter, giving a more classical Pomerol expression with less emphasis on ripeness and alcohol than in warmer vintages. The wine spent 14 months in barriques, half new and half one-wine-old, adding structure without taking the focus away from the vintage.

About CH GAZIN
Château Gazin is a French winery from the famous Bordeaux region and is known for its production of red wine on the right bank area of the Dordogne river. The estate is located in Pomerol, a relatively small but prestigious wine appellation that is internationally regarded as the birthplace of some of the most highly valued Bordeaux wines. The winery has a long history dating back to the 18th century and extends over approximately 26 hectares of vineyards.
