Château Larcis Ducasse 2021 Demi is the 37.5 cl half-bottle version of Château Larcis Ducasse 2021. It is not a separate cuvée, but the same wine in a smaller format: a red Bordeaux from Saint-Émilion, from a Premier Grand Cru Classé estate.The 2021 vintage shows a more classical side of Larcis Ducasse. It was a demanding year, with frost risk, wet conditions and a cooler summer, so selection played an important role. Rather than sheer concentration, the emphasis is on freshness, line and elegance. The blend is led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc, grown on the limestone and clay-limestone soils of Saint-Émilion.
Part of the interest lies in the estate's parcel-based approach. Plateau, south-facing terraces and hillside soils all contribute to the final blend, while 16 to 18 months in barriques gives structure and seasoning without pushing the wine away from the fresher tone of the vintage.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this demi bottle has a clear place among the Bordeaux selection: a refined right-bank wine in a compact format, with strong critical appreciation and a profile that is described more as one for further bottle ageing than as a fully mature young Bordeaux.

Château Larcis Ducasse is a wine estate located in Saint-Émilion, on the right bank of the Bordeaux region in France. The estate belongs to the appellation Saint-Émilion Grand Cru and is known for its long history of viticulture dating back to the nineteenth century. The vineyards cover about 11 hectares and are planted mainly with Merlot, complemented by a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc. Due to the combination of limestone slopes and an optimal microclimate, the grapes can ripen well here, which contributes to the quality of the wines. Château Larcis Ducasse is considered one of the Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classés, a designation awarded to vineyards with a special reputation.
