Château Dauzac 2021 Demi is the grand vin of Château Dauzac in Margaux, Bordeaux, presented here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. As a Grand Cru Classé estate from the 1855 classification, Dauzac sits firmly in the classical Bordeaux tradition, with the 2021 blend built around Cabernet Sauvignon and supported by Merlot.The 2021 vintage was not a year of ease, but of precision. A wet and cool start, spring frost pressure, rain around flowering and a slower ripening season meant that careful vineyard work, parcel selection and rigorous sorting were essential. Grapes were hand-harvested in small crates, sorted before and after destemming, then vinified using a gravity-fed cellar. Maturation lasted 15 months in French oak barrels, 65% of them new.

Château Dauzac is a French winery located in the heart of the famous Bordeaux region, specifically in the Margaux appellation. The wine estate, which dates back to the 18th century, is one of the historic classified growths from 1855 and is valued for its longstanding tradition of winemaking on high-quality vineyards, consisting mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The estate covers about 49 hectares and operates with great attention to biodiversity and sustainable vineyard management. Château Dauzac is especially known for its wines with a classic Margaux style: elegant, balanced and with a refined structure.
