Domaine Maurice et Anne-Marie Chapuis Aloxe-Corton 2022 is a red Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune, made from Pinot Noir grown in Aloxe-Corton. This is the domaine's village-level Aloxe-Corton, coming from the village at the foot of the Corton hill, where clay and limestone soils shape a naturally structured style.Chapuis is a family estate with around 11 hectares of vineyards around Aloxe-Corton. The domaine works with sustainable viticulture and holds HVE3 certification. For this wine, the fruit comes from vines with an average age of 53 years, harvested by hand during the sunny 2022 harvest period.
The winemaking follows a traditional path: around 20 days of cuvaison in concrete vats, with pigeage and remontage, followed by 16 months in barrel. New oak accounts for only 10%, so the wine remains focused on red fruit, freshness and tannic structure rather than overt wood influence. It was bottled unfiltered.
