Château Couhins Blanc 2022 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux, classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves for white wine. This is the estate's main white, built firmly around Sauvignon: 95% Sauvignon Blanc with 5% Sauvignon Gris.The 2022 vintage is especially interesting because it combines the concentration of a warm growing season with the freshness, tension and saline finish highlighted by the estate. It is also the first vintage released by Château Couhins with official AB organic certification. The white vineyard sits on clay-limestone slopes and a sandy-clay plateau, while 9 months of ageing on the lees in barriques gives the wine added texture.

Château Couhins is a wine estate located in the Bordeaux wine region, south of the city of Bordeaux in France. The estate is situated within the appellation Pessac-Léognan, which is known for its high-quality red and white wines. Château Couhins was once owned by various noble families, but has been managed by INRAE (the French National Institute for Agricultural Research) since 1968, which gives it a unique position as an experimental and scientific research estate. The domain has approximately 25 hectares of vineyards, part of which is planted with Sauvignon Blanc for white wine, and the rest with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and some other classic Bordeaux grapes for the red wine. The white wines of Château Couhins are known for their fresh, lively style with notes of citrus and sometimes subtle oak, while the reds are usually elegant and refined, with a balanced character between fruit and oak influence.
