Château Clément-Pichon 2022 is a red Haut-Médoc from Bordeaux, classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. The estate is located in Parempuyre, in the southern part of the Haut-Médoc, and belongs to the Fayat family. What stands out in the 2022 vintage is the merlot-led blend: 69% merlot, 28% cabernet sauvignon and 3% cabernet franc. For the Médoc, that gives the wine a relatively fruit-driven and supple expression while still keeping its Bordeaux frame.Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with extraction focused on fruit expression. The wine then matured for 12 months, partly in barriques and partly in stainless steel. That choice keeps the fruit clear and fresh, with the oak adding gentle roasted and spicy accents rather than dominating the wine.

Château Clëment Pichon is a winery from the Haut-Mëdoc region, north of Bordeaux in France. The estate has a history dating back to the 17th century, although the current castle in neo-Renaissance style dates from the 19th century. The vineyards of Château Clëment Pichon are located on the left bank of the Gironde river and benefit from the characteristic, gravel-rich soil typical of the Haut-Mëdoc. The estate covers an area of approximately 25 hectares, mainly cultivating classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine style is usually characterized by a fine balance between fruit, power and freshness, with Merlot often playing an important role in the blends. Château Clëment Pichon is classified as Cru Bourgeois, a label for high-quality wines from the Médoc outside the famous 1855 classification.
