Clos Haut Peyraguey 2022 Demi is the 37.5 cl half bottle of a sweet white Sauternes from Bordeaux, produced by a property classified as Premier Cru Classé in 1855. Its fruit comes from a 6-hectare walled plot on the higher slopes of Bommes, planted on gravel and sand over a clay subsoil. This was a warm, dry vintage, harvested by hand in several selective passes during October. With a low yield, the emphasis is clearly on careful selection and aromatic intensity, while keeping the sweetness lifted by freshness.
