Château de Rayne Vigneau is a historic wine producer from the Sauternes appellation in the Bordeaux region, France. The estate is located in the commune of Bommes and owes its name to its former owner, the marquis de Rayne, who further developed the domaine in the 19th century. The vineyards of Château de Rayne Vigneau stretch over a characteristic ridge overlooking the Ciron and Garonne rivers, a key location for the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea) that is essential for authentic Sauternes.
