    Chateau Cartier 2021 is a red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from France, connected to the world of Château Fonroque. The estate positions Chateau Cartier as the second wine of Château Fonroque, made with the same broad approach to origin, selection and vinification as the first wine.

    The 2021 vintage is produced from 100% Merlot and is certified organic and biodynamic under the control of ECOCERT France SAS. Its grapes come from clay-limestone slopes and from clay and loam soils at the foot of the slope. That places the wine firmly in a Saint-Emilion setting, with Merlot shaped by freshness, structure and a clear aromatic line.
