Château Doisy Daene Blanc 2022 Magnum is a dry white Bordeaux, and it should be seen separately from the sweet Barsac wines also linked to the estate. This is the Grand Vin Sec, made under the Bordeaux Blanc appellation from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on parcels on the Barsac plateau.
There is real estate history behind the bottle. Château Doisy-Daëne is based in Barsac, has been in the Dubourdieu family since 1924, and this dry white cuvée was introduced in the early 1950s by Pierre Dubourdieu. The vineyards sit on clayey sand over limestone, a soil profile the producer connects with finesse in the white wines.

Chateau Doisy Daene Grand Vin Sec Bordeaux 2021 is the dry white side of an estate better known for Barsac and Sauternes. This is a still, dry Bordeaux Blanc made from Sauvignon Blanc, with fruit sourced from the château's Barsac terroir.
The vineyard setting is an important part of the wine's identity. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from plots on the high Haut-Barsac plateau, where clay-limestone soils and the area's red sands help shape a style built around freshness and finesse. The grapes are hand-harvested and selected, then slowly pressed with protection against oxidation. Fermentation in barriques and 12 months on the lees with regular bâtonnage add texture while keeping the oak influence in the background.

Chateau Doisy Daene Grand Vin Sec Bordeaux 2022 is a dry white Bordeaux with a distinctive background. The estate is best known for Barsac and Sauternes, yet this Grand Vin Sec presents its sauvignon blanc in a dry, aromatic and structured style under the Bordeaux Blanc AOC appellation.
The grapes come from Doisy Daene's sauvignon parcels in Barsac, where clay-rich sands lie over a limestone subsoil. That setting is part of the wine's identity, and the cellar work supports it: fermentation in barriques, around one fifth renewed each year, followed by eight months on the lees with regular bâtonnage.
