Sailor's Home Journey is the entry point in the Sailor's Home range and sits in the Explorer Series alongside Stormchaser. It is an Irish blended whiskey with an approachable style, but the cask work gives it more depth than a simple everyday pour.

The whiskey is triple distilled and first matured in Virgin American oak before (…)

Sailor's Home Horizon 10y is the opening release in the Islands Series, built around the feeling of looking just beyond the horizon. It is an Irish blend of malt and grain whiskeys, matured for at least 10 years, then given a finish that brings a clear Caribbean accent into the glass.

American bourbon casks form the foundation, (…)

Connemara is an Irish single malt with a very distinctive position. Launched in 1995 and coming from the Cooley distillery, it is described in the supplied information as the first peated Irish whiskey. That immediately sets it apart from the more familiar idea many drinkers have of Irish whiskey.

The defining point here is the (…)

Waterford Single Farm Origin Broomland 1.2 is an Irish single malt whiskey with a very specific sense of place in its name. Rather than presenting itself as a broad house style, it points directly to Broomland as the focus of this Single Farm Origin release.

Its maturation takes place over 7 to 10 years in bourbon and sherry (…)

Green Spot Leovillle Barton is an Irish single pot still whiskey shaped by a wine cask finish, while still keeping its Irish identity at the centre. It first matures in Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon casks, before spending a further 12 to 24 months in French oak casks that previously held wine from Château Léoville-Barton.

Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish is an Irish pure pot still whiskey shaped by its sherry-finish character. The name itself puts that Lustau Sherry Finish at the centre, pointing towards a style where fruit and spice are more prominent than peat, smoke or coastal saltiness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Redbreast for (…)

Teeling Blackpitts is an Irish single malt whiskey with peat clearly woven into its identity. That immediately gives it a distinctive position: rather than presenting smoke as a faint background note, this bottling places the peated side of the whiskey firmly in view.

Matured in Bourbon and Sauternes casks, Blackpitts has a (…)
