Chateau Brown Rouge 2022 is the red grand vin of Château Brown from Pessac-Léognan, in the northern Graves area close to Bordeaux. The 2022 vintage is made from equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, a choice that reflects the estate's gravel soils with deeper clay beneath. In a warm, dry year, that clay reserve was particularly important for the vines.
Each grape variety and parcel is vinified separately in small temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Château Brown avoids pigeage, working instead with regular small-volume pump-overs to draw out fruit and tannin with precision. The wine then spends 12 to 15 months in French oak barriques, 40% of them new.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present this as a structured red Bordeaux (…)Chateau Brown White 2019

Chateau Brown Wit 2019 is a white wine from Pessac-Léognan in France, presented with a clear vintage identity. The 2019 year and the origin are the key elements here, giving the wine a more defined place than a general white Bordeaux reference.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking specifically for a French white wine from a recognised appellation and a named estate. The indication that these are the last bottles also makes this particular vintage less readily available.
As no detailed tasting description is supplied, the focus remains on what is certain: Chateau Brown Wit 2019, a white wine from Pessac-Léognan, with an alcohol strength of 13.5%.

Château Brown White 2020 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, made from the white vineyard parcels of Château Brown in Léognan. This is the estate's white grand vin, with Sauvignon Blanc taking the leading role in the 2020 blend and Sémillon adding body and roundness.
The interest here lies in the way freshness is given real structure. The grapes are hand-harvested and handled carefully to limit oxidation. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by eight months on fine lees in French oak, with bâtonnage. That cellar work gives the wine more texture and depth than a purely crisp white style, while keeping the precise identity of a Pessac-Léognan blanc.

Château Brown Blanc 2021 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, produced by Château Brown in Léognan. It is the estate's white grand vin, made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, with a style built around aromatic clarity, freshness and a quietly generous structure.
The 2021 vintage was demanding in the vineyard, yet the cooler summer helped preserve acidity and aromatic definition in the white grapes. Harvesting was done by hand, with sorting in the vineyard and transport in small crates to limit oxidation. The winemaking included cold skin contact, whole-bunch pressing, barrel fermentation and eight months on fine lees with bâtonnage.

Chateau Brown White 2022

Chateau Brown White 2022 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, made by Château Brown in the northern Graves area. It is the estate's white grand vin, produced from 74% Sauvignon Blanc and 26% Sémillon, sourced from a small white vineyard of around 5 to 5.5 hectares.
The 2022 vintage came from a warm, dry growing season, with mid-August rain helping the grapes complete their ripening. Harvest for the white grapes began on 25 August, and unusually for the estate, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon were picked during the same period.
Its character is shaped by careful cellar work: gentle pressing of whole grapes, cold settling, fermentation in French oak barrels and 8 months on fine lees with regular bâtonnage. Ageing takes (…)
