Château Grand-Puy Ducasse 2022 is a red Bordeaux from Pauillac, the grand vin of Château Grand-Puy Ducasse and a 5th Growth in the 1855 classification. The 2022 vintage also brings a noteworthy change to the blend: petit verdot appears for the first time alongside cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
The growing season gives this wine much of its identity. A cold, dry autumn and a mild, wet winter were followed by an exceptionally warm and dry spring and summer. The vineyard was spared during the hailstorm of 20 June and benefited from the scattered rain that came with it.
