Chateau Pape Clement Red 2015 Magnum (1,5l)
On request only
Château Pape Clément Rouge 2015 in magnum is a red Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan with considerable pedigree. It is the estate's red grand vin and is classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, coming from one of Bordeaux's historic properties in Pessac.
The 2015 blend is led by merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with very small additions of petit verdot and cabernet franc. The winemaking details point to a carefully handled wine: vineyard selection, manual destemming and sorting, gravity transfer, extended maceration, malolactic fermentation in barrel and 18 months of ageing in French oak.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bordeaux magnum that naturally belongs at a generous table. The 1.5 litre bottle brings presence to a (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2019

Château Pape Clément Rouge 2019 is a red Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan with a remarkable historical background. The estate's name refers to Bertrand de Goth, Archbishop of Bordeaux, who became Pope Clement V in 1305. Classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, this grand vin rouge is built mainly around Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2019 vintage brings together ripeness and freshness in a way that suits the style of the wine. A wet spring was followed by warm, sunny conditions, while late-September rain helped refine tannin maturity in the Cabernet Sauvignon and preserve energy in the wine. The grapes were hand-harvested in small crates, carefully sorted, moved by gravity into wooden vats and then matured in French oak, largely in barriques (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2019 Demi (37,5cl)

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2019 Demi is the half-bottle format of the red grand vin from Chateau Pape Clement in Pessac-Léognan, Graves. The 37.5 cl bottle does not make it a different wine; it simply offers the same serious Bordeaux in a more practical size for occasions when a full bottle is not needed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bordeaux we place in the conversation about depth, structure and careful cellar work. The 2019 blend is led by merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with small additions of petit verdot and cabernet franc. The grapes were hand-harvested in small crates, carefully sorted, vinified with a detailed approach including wooden vats and cold maceration, then matured for 18 months in French oak.
The 2019 vintage brings (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2020

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2020
In stock
Château Pape Clément Rouge 2020 is the red grand vin from Château Pape Clément in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. The estate's name is linked to Bertrand de Goth, later Pope Clement V, and the château records wine production on these grounds as far back as the thirteenth century.
The 2020 vintage is built on an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. That gives the wine a clear Bordeaux identity: depth of dark fruit, firm structure and the mineral, savoury edge associated here with Pessac-Léognan. The vines grow on clay-rich Pyrenean gravel deposits, with an average vine age of 28 years, and harvest took place between 10 and 30 September 2020.
The work behind the wine is notably detailed. Grapes were selected in (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2020 Demi (37,5cl)

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2020 Demi (37,5cl)

Château Pape Clément Rouge 2020 Demi is the red grand vin of Château Pape Clément from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. The 37.5 cl half-bottle keeps the identity of the wine intact, while offering a more compact way to open a serious Bordeaux from a notable vintage.
The estate is counted among the oldest in Bordeaux and is historically linked to Bertrand de Goth, later Pope Clement V. That history gives the name real weight, yet the wine is defined above all by its place: Pessac-Léognan, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot forming the core of the blend.
The 2020 vintage followed a warm, dry growing season after a mild and wet spring. Grapes were harvested by hand parcel by parcel, sorted (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2021

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2021

Château Pape Clément Red 2021 is the red grand vin from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. The blend for this vintage is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, drawn from carefully managed vineyard parcels planted on clay and gravel soils.
The 2021 vintage in Bordeaux was shaped more by freshness, acidity and precision than by sheer ripeness. That gives this wine a more classical line: structured, defined and less exuberant than warmer recent years. The fruit was selected with care, including manual and optical sorting, followed by a 28-day maceration and 18 months of ageing in French oak, mostly barriques with a smaller part in foudres.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bordeaux we like to present to customers who appreciate pedigree (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2021 Demi (37,5cl)

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2021 Demi (37,5cl)
In stock
Château Pape Clément Rouge 2021 is the red grand vin of the estate in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, and is classified as Grand Cru Classé de Graves. This is the 37.5 cl demi bottle, so the wine itself remains the same 2021 release, simply presented in a smaller format that suits moments when a full Bordeaux bottle is more than you need.
The 2021 vintage has a cooler, more classical feel. The growing season brought a warm, wet winter, followed by a cool, rainy spring with frost and a cool, wet summer. In the wine, that background is reflected in a fresher and less heavily concentrated style than some warmer recent vintages, while still showing the structure expected from the estate. The blend for this year is 60% merlot and 40% cabernet sauvignon.

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2022

Château Pape Clément Rouge 2022 is the grand vin red of Château Pape Clément in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. Few wines carry this kind of historical weight: the estate links its origins to Bertrand de Goth, later Pope Clement V, and refers to winegrowing on the same site since 1252. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this bottle as more than a respected Bordeaux name; it is a meeting point between a long-established estate, careful vineyard work and a powerful 2022 vintage.
The blend for 2022 is 60% merlot and 40% cabernet sauvignon. On the estate, merlot is mainly planted on the more clay-rich eastern soils, while cabernet sauvignon is found on the gravelly western side. That gives the wine its combination of ripe dark fruit and firm structure. (…)Chateau Pape Clement Red 2022 Demi (37,5cl)

Chateau Pape Clement Red 2022 Demi (37,5cl)
In stock
Château Pape Clément Rouge 2022 in half bottle is the red grand vin of this historic Pessac-Léognan estate, presented here in 37.5 cl. It is not a separate cuvée, simply the same wine in a smaller format, well suited to occasions where a full bottle would be more than needed.
The 2022 blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. That mirrors the estate's own vineyard picture, with Merlot linked to clay soils and Cabernet Sauvignon to gravel. The growing season moved from a mild, wet winter into a warm spring and a dry, sunny summer, with harvest taking place from 7 to 27 September. The available tasting notes point to concentration, firm structure and ripe dark fruit.
In the cellar, the wine was made with strict grape selection (…)Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021

Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021

Le Clémentin de Pape Clément Rouge 2021 is the second red wine of Château Pape Clément, from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. It carries the signature of a historic Graves classified estate, yet the 2021 vintage gives it a fresher, more medium-bodied expression rather than a heavy one.
The blend is led by merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with a very small proportion of petit verdot. The grapes come from the château's own Pessac-Léognan vineyards, managed by micro-parcel on clay and gravel soils. Selection is careful at several stages: in the vineyard, by hand on whole bunches and then optically on the berries. Maturation in used barrels for most of the wine, with the rest kept in vats, supports the aim of preserving fruit rather than (…)Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021 Dubbele Magnum (3l)

Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021 Dubbele Magnum (3l)
Very last one in stock!
Clémentin de Pape Clément Rouge 2021 is the second red wine of Château Pape Clément from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. In this 3-litre double magnum, it immediately feels like a wine made for the table: a bottle to open when there is time, food and company enough to let it show itself gradually.
The 2021 vintage reflects a cool, humid growing season in Bordeaux. The blend is led by merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with a small proportion of petit verdot, all from the château's own estate. Selection was taken seriously, from work in the vineyard to manual bunch selection and optical berry sorting, followed by gravity-fed vinification in wooden and stainless-steel vats. Maturation took place mainly in one-year-old barriques, with the (…)Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Clementin De Pape Clement Red 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Le Clémentin de Pape Clément Rouge 2021 is the second red wine of Château Pape Clément, from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. In this 1.5-litre magnum, it has the presence of a bottle made for the table, while keeping the approachable nature associated with this cuvée.
The 2021 vintage is built mainly on merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with a small proportion of petit verdot. For this wine, the year is described more in terms of freshness, aromatic precision and medium-bodied structure than sheer power. That gives Le Clémentin its place: the origin and seriousness of the estate, expressed in a less concentrated style than the grand vin.
There is still a great deal of care behind the wine. The grapes were selected in (…)Prelat Pape Clement Red 2019

Prelat Pape Clement Red 2019
Not available for shipping
Le Prélat de Pape Clément 2019 is a red Bordeaux from the Château Pape Clément family, but it should not be confused with the estate's Grand Vin. It is a separate cuvée, positioned in a more fruit-driven, earlier-drinking style while still carrying the structure one expects from this Bordeaux signature.
The blend brings together merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. The vines are around thirty years old on average, rooted in deep gravel soils with limestone layers beneath. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 14 months of ageing in barriques, half new and half barrels that had previously held one wine.
