La Clarte De Haut Brion Blanc 2022

La Clarté de Haut-Brion Blanc 2022 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux, made as the second white wine associated with Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion. Its fruit comes from the Haut-Brion terroir, giving the wine a clear sense of origin and a direct link to one of Bordeaux's most distinctive white wine settings.
The 2022 vintage has its own story. After an early growing season and a hot, dry summer, the white grapes were picked between 17 and 23 August, the second earliest white harvest after 2003. Harvesting took place early in the morning, and the grapes were cooled on arrival at the cellar to protect their aromatic potential. The blend is 53.7% Sauvignon Blanc and 46.3% Sémillon, with 38.2% new barrels (…)La Clarte De Haut Brion White 2018

La Clarte De Haut Brion White 2018 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. It is described as the shared second white wine of Château Haut-Brion Blanc and Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc, made from grapes grown on the Haut-Brion terroir. That connection gives the wine a clear sense of origin without turning it into a mere shadow of the grands vins.
The 2018 growing season moved from a stormy spring into a warm, dry summer, followed by sunny harvest conditions in September. The grapes were picked ripe and healthy. Sémillon leads the blend at 79.2%, supported by 20.8% sauvignon blanc, while 58% new barriques point to a white Bordeaux with substance and structure rather than a purely light, immediate style.

The 2019 blend is almost evenly split between Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, with 51.7% Sauvignon Blanc and 48.3% Sémillon. Part of the maturation took place in new barriques, though the available tasting notes do not present oak as the main feature. La Clarte De Haut Brion Wit 2020 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux, closely connected with Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion. It is the white second wine drawn from grapes of the Haut-Brion terroir, and its interest lies in the way it combines breadth, freshness and a polished sense of detail.
The 2020 blend is led by Sémillon, with Sauvignon Blanc playing a supporting role. That high proportion of Sémillon gives the wine its full, rounded impression on the palate, while the conditions of the 2020 vintage called for careful work to preserve aromatic freshness. La Clarte De Haut Brion Wit 2021 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux, closely connected with Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion. It is the white second wine within that setting, made from grapes grown on the Haut-Brion terroir. That gives it a clear sense of origin and a more serious identity than a simple white Bordeaux.
The 2021 vintage brings a fresh, classical Bordeaux feel. After a growing season with cool and wet periods, warmer days and cool nights from August helped the aromatic development. The blend is led by Sémillon alongside Sauvignon, and maturation in barriques adds texture and structure while keeping the wine's freshness in focus.
