Lochlea Fallow Edition Third Crop Incl. Box

Lochlea Fallow Edition Third Crop is the third and final limited release in Lochlea's seasonal Fallow trilogy. Rather than feeling like a permanent core expression, this Lowland single malt captures a specific stage in the distillery's series of seasonal bottlings.
The whisky was matured in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks and is made with older spirit than the 2023 edition. That gives this Third Crop a deeper, more generous side while remaining unpeated: baked fruit, honeyed sweetness, malty richness and a peppery finish form the main thread.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we like to present to customers who enjoy following a whisky story from one edition to the next. As the final Fallow release and now down to the last bottles, it has (…)Lochlea 2018 7y (Adelphi)

Lochlea 2018 7y (Adelphi)
On request only
Lochlea 2018 7y is a Scottish Lowland single malt with a clear, modern and expressive personality. What stands out here is not age for its own sake, but the way this young whisky already shows notable maturity and aromatic precision.
The first-fill bourbon barrel gives the whisky freshness, brightness and a gentle creamy side, while the malt character remains firmly present. Bottled at cask strength at 57.9%, it carries real intensity, yet the presentation stays clean and focused.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottling fits naturally among whiskies that show how quickly Lochlea is developing a recognisable distillery style. With only the last bottles remaining, this 7-year-old release has become an increasingly scarce opportunity to taste this particular (…)Lochlea 2018 7y Incl. Box

Lochlea 2018 7y is a notable milestone for this Lowland distillery: it is Lochlea's oldest expression so far. Seven years of maturation give the whisky extra depth, while keeping the distillery's own malt character clearly in view.
The whisky was matured exclusively in seven hand-selected first-fill Bourbon Barrels from the 2018 stock. Time in the distillery's traditional dunnage warehouses has allowed the fruit, creamy texture and gentle wood influence to come together in a more developed way.
Bottled at 50%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, this single malt stays close to the spirit's natural presentation. With 2000 bottles released, it is a limited edition, and at Drankenshop Broekmans we see it as a particularly interesting Lochlea for (…)Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 Incl. Box

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 Incl. Box
On request only
Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 is the second annual limited-edition release in this cask strength series. The concept is deliberately close to the warehouse experience: whisky bottled straight from the casks, with no water added, as if tasting a sample drawn on site.
For this edition, production director John Campbell selected a mix of Oloroso Sherry, STR and PX casks. Those casks were chosen to work particularly well at higher strength, giving this 60% Lowland single malt amplified fruit, nut and cereal aromas, with a clear floral thread running through it.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Lochlea we point out when someone wants to experience the distillery in a more intense, uncut form. As a limited batch with the last bottles available, it also (…)Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 Incl. Box

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 presents the annual Cask Strength series at its boldest so far. This Lowland single malt is bottled straight from the casks, without water being added, so at 59.8% it stays close to the feeling of tasting a sample directly in the maturation warehouse.
The defining choice here is the marriage created by the master blender. Oloroso Sherry casks bring richness and red fruit, while casks that previously held heavily smoked Islay whisky add a surprising smoky twist. It gives this release a darker, fuller and more forceful side of Lochlea, carried by sweet depth, spice and smoke.
In the whisky range at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a powerful single malt with real presence, (…)Lochlea Dark Briar Incl. Box

Lochlea Dark Briar Incl. Box
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 22/11/2026Lochlea Dark Briar is a Lowland single malt shaped around the idea of the fallow season: the land appears quiet, yet there is life and movement beneath the surface. That image suits the whisky well, with a dark, fruit-led style supported by smooth, warming spice.
Maturation in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and port casks gives this release its deep aromatic direction. Rather than simply feeling cask-driven, it brings together candied red fruit, natural sweetness and sweet spice in a way that makes the name Dark Briar feel very fitting.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Lochlea for drinkers who enjoy a juicy, richly spiced single malt without a smoky profile. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its cherries, sticky plums, gentle tannins (…)Lochlea Orchard & Oak Incl. Box

Lochlea Orchard & Oak Incl. Box

Lochlea Orchard & Oak is a Lowland single malt from Scotland with a clear focus on orchard freshness and gentle oak influence. The name captures the style well: bright fruit, a touch of sweetness and a measured spicy edge from the wood.
The whisky was developed from Lochlea's seasonal Sowing edition and brings together three cask influences. First-fill Bourbon casks contribute vanilla sweetness, new American oak adds spice, and Calvados casks bring a distinct apple signature. Rather than feeling heavy, the whisky keeps its sense of lift, with fruit and oak working closely together.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a single malt with a recognisable fruity identity and a polished, modern feel. (…)Lochlea Our Barley

Lochlea Our Barley
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 22/11/2026Lochlea Our Barley is the core expression from this Lowland single malt distillery in Scotland. It presents Lochlea in a direct and recognisable way: barley-led whisky, shaped by cask maturation, with an open aromatic style rather than a focus on peat.
Maturation in bourbon, sherry and STR casks gives the whisky a layered feel without making it overly wood-driven. The character moves through pear syrup, fruit sweets and marmalade, with gentle spice, warm cut grass, rye bread and macadamia nuts adding extra detail.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Lochlea Our Barley is the kind of Scottish single malt we like to point out when someone wants to discover a modern house style rather than chase an age statement. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence in the glass, while (…)Lochlea Ploughing Edition Third Crop Incl. Box

Lochlea Ploughing Edition Third Crop Incl. Box

Lochlea Ploughing Edition Third Crop shows a smokier side of this Lowland single malt. As the fourth limited edition and the closing chapter of the seasonal trilogy, it brings a darker accent to the Lochlea range, shaped by maturation in ex-Islay casks.
The familiar Lochlea grain character is still there, supported by fresh fruit, but here it is joined by smoke, a saline edge and a peaty finish. The supplied product information describes it as Lochlea's smokiest whisky, giving this release a clearly defined place within the series.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Ploughing Edition as a strong example of how Lochlea can move beyond its gentler Lowland profile without losing its own identity. Bottled at 46% and released in limited quantities, it is a (…)Lochlea Red Wine 2026 Incl. Box

Lochlea Red Wine 2026 Incl. Box

Lochlea Red Wine 2026 is a Scottish Lowland single malt and part of Lochlea's annual Red Wine Cask releases. The idea behind the series is to revisit the red wine cask theme each year, selecting casks that suit the distillery's own style.
For this second release, the whisky first matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished in carefully chosen Sangiovese casks. That maturation path gives the whisky its sweet, velvety feel, with honey, gentle spice, ripe red berries and nutty nuances shaping the experience.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a modern single malt where cask influence and provenance meet. Lochlea works with its own barley and distils and matures entirely on site in Ayrshire, Scotland, giving this release a (…)Lochlea Red Wine Incl. Box

Lochlea Red Wine Incl. Box

Lochlea Red Wine is the first release in Lochlea's annual Red Wine Cask series, built around the meeting point between Lowland single malt and notable wine casks. It starts with maturation in first-fill Bourbon casks, giving a fruity, vanilla-led foundation, before being transferred to carefully selected Grenache casks for its finish.
That finishing period brings a bright, generous fruit character, with a summery feel and the sense of ripe fruit at its peak. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Lochlea bottling where the cask choice clearly shapes the whisky, while still keeping the single malt at the centre.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry the oak, spice and fruit without feeling overstated. With the last bottles now in view, it is a (…)Lochlea Smoke Without Fire

Lochlea Smoke Without Fire
In stock
Lochlea Smoke Without Fire takes a restrained view of smoky whisky. Rather than aiming for heavy peat impact, it brings smoke in a more elegant way, allowing the fruit, floral notes and gentle spice to stay clearly present.
The character comes from refill Bourbon casks that previously held Islay whisky. That detail matters: the casks contribute the impression of smoke without making it harsh or overwhelming. Red wine casks add a fruitier counterbalance, giving the whisky a softer lift around its coastal, smoky edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Lochlea as a thoughtful choice for anyone interested in smoke with finesse. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence in the glass while keeping the style refined and approachable in its own quiet way.

Lochlea Sowing Edition Third Crop Incl. Box

Lochlea Sowing Edition Third Crop is a Lowland single malt from Scotland with a clear seasonal idea behind it. As the first release in Lochlea's seasonal trilogy, the Sowing Edition shows a fresh and lively side of the whisky.
Maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels gives the whisky direction while leaving room for its more delicate notes. The supplied tasting notes point to almonds, rose petals, white pepper and bright apple blossom, followed by a finish marked by warm straw and fresh grass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like to introduce this Lochlea as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy clarity, spice and a natural, non-peated style rather than weight or smoke. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character without losing its clean Lowland (…)
