The rums all come from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. They are made from molasses, fermented for 3 to 5 days, and distilled using a combination of pot still and column still. Maturation takes place in several cask types, including white oak, bourbon casks and Ferrand cognac casks, with different levels of toasting. The rums in the blend range from 12 to 20 years old and combine tropical and continental ageing.

Only 150 bottles were drawn, giving this Fiji rum a very specific identity. It was distilled in 2017 from molasses, after a week-long fermentation, using a copper pot still.
The maturation adds much of the story here. The rum spent four years ageing tropically in bourbon casks, followed by six months of continental maturation in Ferrand casks and a further one and a half years in an Ironroot Republic Promethean bourbon cask.
