Sagamore Spirit Rye is an American rye whiskey with a modern Maryland-style approach, drawing inspiration from Maryland's distilling past. Its character starts with the blending of two different rye whiskeys: a high-rye and a low-rye, both made with grains from the local farming community.
Each whiskey is triple distilled and matured for 4 to 6 years in American oak before being blended in small batches of 20 barrels. That combination brings added complexity, while the triple distillation supports the smoothness that defines this release.
