Speyside 1998 21y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular) Incl. Box
On request only
Speyside 1998 21y DLXOP is a single malt built around the individuality of one cask. Distilled in May 1998 and bottled in May 2019 by Douglas Laing for the Extra Old Particular series, it spent 21 years in a refill sherry butt and was released at its natural cask strength of 61.3%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this stand out because they are so specific: one cask, one maturation path and only 256 bottles drawn from it. It is not a standard ongoing release, but a precise snapshot of mature Speyside whisky from a single refill sherry butt.
The profile brings together fruit, oak and a gentle spicy edge, with the strength left intact rather than diluted. As this concerns the last bottles, it has become an increasingly scarce Douglas Laing release.

Speyside Distillery 1991 24y (Cadenhead's Small Batch)
On request only
Speyside Distillery 1991 24y is a Scottish single malt selected by Cadenhead for the Cadenhead's Small Batch range. It has the feel of a focused independent bottling: distilled in 1991, matured for 24 years in bourbon hogsheads and bottled at cask strength.
At 50.5% alcohol, it carries a firm natural strength, while the release of 630 bottles keeps the scale deliberately small. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for the way they show a specific cask-driven interpretation of a single malt, especially when only the last bottles remain.
The available flavour profile points towards a wood-led whisky, supported by lighter floral, spicy and fruity notes. Peat and salinity are not part of the picture here, so the focus stays on maturity, oak (…)Speyside Distillery 1997 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Speyside Distillery 1997 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)
In stock
Speyside Distillery 1997 23y is a Scottish single malt with the kind of detail that immediately makes it worth a closer look. Bottled by The Nectar for the Daily Dram series, it comes from a single hogshead and was released at cask strength, keeping the focus firmly on the individual cask rather than on a broad house style.
Only 271 bottles were drawn, and with the last bottles now in stock, its limited nature is part of the appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially interesting because they allow us to talk about whisky as a specific cask experience rather than just a label from a region.
The profile points towards a Speyside malt where fruit and spice carry the main conversation, with wood and floral notes playing a quieter (…)Speyside Malt 2004 18y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

Speyside Malt 2004 18y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)
On request only
Speyside Malt 2004 18y is a Scottish single malt from Speyside, bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection. With its 2004 distillation date, 18 years of age and bourbon barrel maturation, it comes across as a clearly defined release rather than a broad, anonymous Speyside style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out for its measured detail. Bottled at 46%, it places spice at the centre, with gentler fruit, wood and floral accents around it. Peat is not part of the flavour direction here, so the whisky stays firmly within an unpeated Speyside expression.
As only the last bottles remain, this Cadenhead release has become a more time-sensitive discovery. Its appeal lies in that specific combination of origin, age, (…)Speyside Malt 31y Marriage (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage) Incl. Box

Speyside Malt 31y Marriage (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage) Incl. Box

Speyside Malt 31y Marriage is a Scottish single malt with age at the centre of its identity. Distilled in 1992 and matured for 31 years, it comes from Speyside and was bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Marriage series.
The name points toward a whisky brought together with patience rather than one built around immediate impact. Fruit, spice and wood all play a clear part in its profile, while the 48.3% strength gives it enough presence to carry that maturity in the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place with whiskies for drinkers who appreciate older Speyside malt and limited independent releases. With 806 bottles produced and the last bottles now available, it has a quiet sense of scarcity without needing to (…)
