Shefford Mannor Rye is a Canadian rye from Tomahawk with a very clear identity. According to the available information, there is only one Shefford Mannor reference, and it is this 3-year-old rye. That gives the bottle a straightforward place of its own, without a broader range around it.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see the appeal here in its honest, youthful style. It does not lean on heavy wood influence; instead, the rye character comes through with a clear spicy side and a lighter fruity touch in support. Matured in American Oak and bottled at 40%, it remains approachable while still showing the dry, young-spirit edge described in the tasting notes.
With the last bottles now available and a quietly popular following, this is a fitting choice for anyone (…)
