Dictador Colombiana

Dictador Colombiana is an aged Colombian rum with a warm, aromatic style built around coffee, chocolate, vanilla, panela and caramel. It has the kind of flavour signature that immediately places it in Dictador's world: generous, rounded and distinctly Colombian in inspiration.
Created under the supervision of Dictador master distiller Hernan Parra, it draws on three generations of Parra family know-how. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of rum we like to introduce to customers looking for a smooth, flavourful pour with familiar but well-defined aromatic markers.
Bottled at 38%, Dictador Colombiana is well suited to drinking neat, while its coffee, chocolate and caramel notes also give it enough depth for more refined cocktails. Its popularity is easy (…)Colombia 2009 (1423 Single Barrel Selection - Cadenhead's Single Cask)

Colombia 2009 (1423 Single Barrel Selection - Cadenhead's Single Cask)
In stock
Colombia 2009 is a Colombian molasses rum with a very focused identity: one origin, one cask, and a small release of 312 bottles. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in March 2019 after ten years of maturation, it was finished in a port cask and bottled at 46% ABV.
Rather than presenting a broad house blend, this release captures the character of a single selected cask. That makes it a more individual style of rum, especially now that only the last bottles remain. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued because they show how a specific maturation path can shape a rum without turning it into a technical exercise.
The profile leans towards sweetness and spice, supported by lighter notes of fruit, wood and a subtle floral touch. Its traditional column (…)Colombian Ortodoxy Gin

Colombian Ortodoxy Gin

Colombian Ortodoxy Gin stands out first of all through its Colombian origin. In a gin category often dominated by more familiar production countries, this bottle brings a different point of departure and a sense of discovery.
At 43% ABV, it has the strength expected of a serious gin, while the available product information does not specify its botanicals or detailed flavour direction. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see a gin like this as an interesting choice for customers who enjoy exploring bottles from less expected origins rather than staying only with the usual gin regions.
No specific tasting notes or botanical details are provided for Colombian Ortodoxy Gin. For that reason, we do not add aroma, flavour or finish descriptions that are not supported by (…)Colombian Rum Aged Gin Treasure

Colombian Rum Aged Gin Treasure

Colombian Rum Aged Gin Treasure is a Colombian gin with a clearly distinctive angle: its name places the focus on a rum-aged identity. That gives it a different starting point from a straightforward classic gin, with the story shaped by its origin and by the reference to maturation connected with rum.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this belongs among the more curious gin choices, the kind that invites a customer to explore beyond the familiar styles. Bottled at 43% ABV, it has a solid presence, while the Colombian origin and rum-aged theme define the product's appeal.
No detailed tasting notes or additional production information are supplied, so the description stays deliberately precise: a gin from Colombia with a rum-aged character, suited to (…)Dictador 100 Claro

Dictador 100 Claro

Dictador 100 Claro shows a more restrained side of Dictador's Colombian rum style. It sits within the world of molasses and sugar cane juice rum, distilled using a multicolumn style, giving it a clean and composed profile rather than a heavy, old-fashioned feel.
Oak cask ageing is part of the information supplied for this rum, yet the flavour profile does not point towards a wood-led character. The emphasis is lighter: gentle floral notes, a touch of spice, some fruitiness and a soft sweetness, all kept in a relatively subtle register.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for customers who want to explore Dictador from a lighter and less oak-driven angle. With only the last bottles remaining, it has become a more limited presence in our rum (…)Dictador 100 Orange

Dictador 100 Orange

Dictador 100 Orange is a Colombian rum with a clear fruity and sweet direction, very much in line with its name. It is made from molasses and sugar cane juice and distilled in a multicolumn style, giving it a clean, straightforward structure rather than a heavy wood-driven profile.
Oak cask maturation plays a supporting role here, allowing the sweeter fruit character to stay at the centre, with gentle spice and a light floral accent around it. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those rums that stands out through its fruit-led personality, especially now that only the last bottles remain.

Dictador 10y

Dictador 10y shows a Colombian rum style built around maturity, softness and a clear fruit-driven side. As a sugar cane honey rum, multicolumn distilled and bottled at 40%, it is shaped more by smoothness and approachability than by sheer intensity.
The 10-year age statement and solera system give the rum its sense of development. Maturation in Colombian Oak adds a gentle woody accent, present enough to frame the spirit without taking attention away from its fruitier core.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a natural choice for anyone exploring Colombian rum with a rounded, lightly spiced and fruit-led character. Additional information can be found at https://www.dictador.com/

Dictador 10 Years is a Colombian rum with a rounded, approachable style shaped by maturation in oak casks through the solera system. The 10-year age statement, bourbon barrel influence and 40% strength give it a composed sipping character without making it feel heavy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this gift pack stands out because it feels complete: a bottle with its official glass, presented in a way that suits a rum gift while still keeping the focus on the liquid itself. It is a neat choice when you want something polished and easy to enjoy.
Serve it neat to appreciate its soft wood-driven profile. The producer also suggests pairing it with a light cigar, a setting that matches the rum's smooth and gently spiced character.

Dictador 12y

Dictador 12y is a Colombian rum with a clear connection to the world of sherry. Matured through the solera system and given a sherry finish, it is described in the supplied information as recalling a soft, saline manzanilla. That detail says a lot about its personality: rich and elegant, yet not driven by excessive sweetness.
The rum brings together pot still and column still distillates, with the Cuban master blender's touch keeping the style polished and expressive. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we value for its ability to show depth without becoming heavy, and for the way the sherry influence adds a fresh, slightly savoury dimension.
Fruit and spice are the main flavour directions, supported by gentle wood, light floral notes and a (…)Dictador 15y

Dictador 15y shows a mature side of Colombian rum, built around the house's smooth and polished style. It is made from virgin sugar cane honey and matured in oak casks in the tropical climate of Cartagena, on Colombia's Caribbean coast. That setting gives the rum extra depth while keeping its character rounded and approachable.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among rums for drinkers who enjoy maturity without excessive weight. The longer ageing, bourbon barrels and multicolumn distillation come together in a rum that feels generous, mellow and neatly composed.
Essentials 15 brings Colombian tradition into a contemporary rum style. Its appeal lies in warm flavours such as caramel, honey, dark chocolate and gentle wood influence, making it a calm and (…)Dictador 18y

Dictador 18y

Dictador 18y is a Colombian rum shaped by its Caribbean-coast origin and the tropical ageing conditions of Cartagena. Made from virgin sugar cane honey, it sits on the more mature side of Dictador's house style: still smooth in feel, but with added depth from long ageing in oak.
The use of bourbon barrels gives the rum a firm woody frame while leaving room for fruit, dark chocolate tones and gentle spice. It is bottled at 40%, with a character that feels rounded rather than heavy, and mature without losing the softness associated with Dictador.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a strong choice for anyone who enjoys the polished Dictador style but wants a more developed expression. The bottle's holographic label also underlines the brand's contemporary (…)Dictador 1977 40y Nectar

Dictador 1977 40y Nectar is a Colombian rum built around time, cask and scarcity. Distilled in 1977 and bottled on 20 January 2017, it carries a 40 year age statement that gives the release a very specific identity: one vintage, one long maturation, one defined moment of bottling.
Drawn from a single bourbon cask and limited to 300 bottles, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans among the rums where the story is shaped by more than brand or category alone. The use of pot still and column distillation adds another point of interest, while the single cask format keeps the focus on one individual parcel of rum.
At 43% alcohol, Dictador 1977 40y Nectar is not presented through sheer strength, but through maturity and cask influence. The flavour profile points towards (…)Dictador 1977 41y Nectar

Dictador 1977 41y Nectar
On request only
Dictador 1977 41y Nectar is a Colombian rum where age and scarcity are central to the story. Distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2018, with a 41-year designation in its name, it sits firmly among long-matured rums. The fact that it comes from a single cask and was limited to 300 bottles gives it a very defined identity rather than the feel of a broad release.
Made from sugar cane juice, it brings together pot still and column distillation. Maturation in a bourbon cask fits closely with the strongly wood-led profile, supported by clear spice and fruit. Sweetness is present, but it plays a lighter role rather than shaping the rum as a sweet style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Dictador stands out for customers drawn to mature rum with a precise origin, a (…)Dictador 2 Masters 1972 45y (Glenfarclas)

Dictador 2 Masters 1972 45y (Glenfarclas) is a Colombian rum with time at the centre of its identity. Distilled in 1972 and bottled on 13 August 2018, it carries a 45-year age statement, giving the bottle a very specific sense of origin and maturity.
The Glenfarclas name and the whisky finish add another point of interest to this Dictador release. Drawn from a single cask and bottled at 45% alcohol, it was released in an edition of 378 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we highlight for its combination of long ageing, Colombian character, whisky cask influence and genuine scarcity.
The flavour profile points towards clear wood, spice and fruit, with sweetness playing a more restrained supporting role. Rather than a broadly rounded (…)Dictador 2 Masters 1978 Hardy Cognac Finish

Dictador 2 Masters 1978 Hardy Cognac Finish is a Colombian rum built around time, cask character and scarcity. Distilled in 1978 and bottled on 13 August 2018, it carries an age statement of 39 years. The name points clearly to its Cognac Finish, with Hardy forming part of the identity of this release.
This is not a broad-volume bottling. It comes from a single cask, with only 360 bottles produced, and the last bottles indication gives it an extra sense of rarity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands apart because it brings together mature Colombian rum, a defined cask finish and a very limited release.
The distillation style combines pot still and column distillation, bottled at 41% alcohol. Its profile places fruit and spice at the centre, with (…)Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche is a Colombian rum built around age, provenance and scarcity. Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2018, it carries a 37-year age statement. As a single cask release limited to 390 bottles, it feels much more like a defined piece of maturation history than a regular expression.
The Chateau D'Arche name and the Sauternes finish are central to this release. They frame the rum as a meeting between Dictador's Colombian spirit and a finishing cask with its own identity. The production background also notes the use of both pot still and column distillation, while the real focus remains on the long ageing period and the individuality of the cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the ones we introduce with a (…)Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Despagne's Red Wine Bordeaux Cask

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Despagne's Red Wine Bordeaux Cask

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Despagne's Red Wine Bordeaux Cask is a Colombian rum built around patience, cask identity and a clear Bordeaux connection. Distilled in 1980 and bottled on 13 August 2018, it carries 37 years of maturation before being presented at 45% alcohol.
What makes this release especially interesting is its single cask nature and its Bordeaux finish in a red wine cask from Despagne. That finishing detail gives the rum a distinctive frame: the profile points towards wood, spice and fruit as the main elements, with sweetness playing a quieter supporting role.
Only 381 bottles were filled, and the indication of last bottles gives this Dictador a particular relevance within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. The combination of pot still and (…)Dictador 20y

Dictador 20y is a Colombian rum carrying a twenty-year age statement and made using the solera system. That gives it a different perspective from a single-vintage release: the emphasis is on continuity, layered maturation and the house style Dictador wants to express in this 20-year-old bottling.
Its use of pot still and column distillation is part of what shapes the rum's identity. Rather than focusing on one narrow aspect, the profile brings together clear wood influence, spice and fruit, while sweetness remains more of a supporting element.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of mature Colombian rum we place in front of customers looking for depth without an overly sweet impression. The 40% strength keeps it approachable, while the age statement and (…)Dictador 78 Platinum

Dictador 78 Platinum

Dictador 78 Platinum is a Colombian rum in the sugar cane honey style, bottled at 40%. With no age statement, the focus falls on how the rum is shaped: distilled in a stainless steel alambic and developed in sherry and port casks.
The appeal here lies in the contrast between controlled distillation and a cask influence that points clearly towards wood and spice. Rather than presenting itself as a purely sweet rum, the available profile suggests a more wood-led, spiced character, with fruit and floral notes playing a lighter supporting role.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Dictador 78 Platinum sits well among Colombian rums for customers looking for a polished, cask-driven style with more structure than straightforward sweetness.

Dictador 79 Aurum is a Colombian rum with a profile built around sugar cane honey and pot still distillation. The available information does not place it behind an age statement, so the focus sits more naturally on its style, origin and maturation rather than on a number on the label.
Bourbon barrel ageing gives this rum a clear wooden thread, with fruit also playing an important role. Floral, spiced and gently sweet elements appear in a more supporting way. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present this as a rum for someone who enjoys a composed, wood-accented style rather than a bottle driven purely by sweetness.
Bottled at 40%, Dictador 79 Aurum remains approachable in strength while still carrying the interest of Colombian provenance, pot still (…)Dictador Cartagena
