Lone Wolf Mexican Lime & Cactus Gin
Only 2 left in stock!
Lone Wolf Mexican Lime & Cactus Gin is a bold, fresh-minded creation from the BrewDog Distilling Company. It is made from their own Abstrakt Vodka base, then shaped with Mexican lime, cactus juice and the distinctive sweetness of Tuscan juniper.
The charm here lies in the contrast between zesty citrus and juicy fruit. The cactus juice brings strawberry and watermelon notes, while the lime adds a sharp, lively brightness. Juniper remains part of the picture, giving the gin its familiar herbal sweetness rather than letting it become purely fruit-driven.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out as a gin with a sunny, exotic edge. With the last bottles now in stock, it is a particularly interesting choice for anyone looking beyond the usual gin (…)Lone Wolf Bramble & Raspberry

Lone Wolf Bramble & Raspberry
Not available for shipping
Lone Wolf Bramble & Raspberry is a fruit-forward gin from BrewDog, made in Great Britain by the BrewDog Distilling Company. The gin is built from the ground up using their own Abstrakt Vodka as its base, giving this expression a clear starting point before the berry character comes into play.
Freshly harvested berries, ripe juicy fruit and candied raspberry shape the personality of the gin. The signature Tuscan juniper is still part of the picture, but here it sits alongside a more fragrant, berry-led style rather than standing alone in a purely classic gin profile.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Lone Wolf as a good fit for customers looking for a gin with a pronounced red-fruit character while still keeping the spice and juniper notes that define (…)Lone Wolf Cactus & Lime Gin (Damaged: Label dirty, damaged or missing)

Brewdog's Lone Wolf Gin takes its cue from the line In juniper we trust, and that is exactly where the character begins. Juniper is clearly at the core, giving the gin its firm, recognisable structure. Around it sit lavender and citrus notes, adding a fragrant, fresh edge without taking the gin away from its botanical foundation.
A total of 14 botanicals are used, giving Lone Wolf more aromatic range than a simple juniper-led style while keeping the profile focused. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a gin for drinkers who enjoy a clear botanical voice, with floral lift and a crisp citrus touch.
It works especially well in a Gin & Tonic, with Erasmus Bond Classic specifically mentioned in the product information as a strong match. As these are the (…)Lone Wolf Lemon Gin

Lone Wolf Peach & Passionfuit Gin is a fruit-led gin from BrewDog, produced by the BrewDog Distilling Company in Great Britain. It is built from the ground up using their own Abstrakt Vodka as the base, then shaped with ripe peach, aromatic passion fruit and BrewDog's distinctive Tuscan juniper.
Its personality sits in the contrast between sweet exotic fruit and the spiced backbone of juniper. It still feels clearly like gin, but it moves in a brighter, juicier direction than a classically dry style. At 38% alcohol, it has enough structure to carry the fruit without becoming heavy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a gin with a clear peach and passion fruit signature. As these are the last (…)
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about gin
What is gin?
Gin is a spirit distilled from neutral alcohol, to which juniper and other botanicals (herbs, spices and fruits) are added. Juniper berry is mandatory: without it, it cannot officially be called gin.
What is the difference between gin and gin?
Although they are related, there is a distinct difference. Jenever is the traditional Dutch/Belgian variety, often malty and fuller in flavour. Gin is lighter, fresher and mostly more focused on herbs and citrus.
What types of gin are there?
- London Dry Gin: the most classic and sleek style, with no added sugars.
- Plymouth Gin: a protected designation of origin, a little softer and earthier.
- Old Tom Gin: slightly sweeter, often used in historic cocktails.
- New Western or Contemporary Gin: more modern style in which juniper is less dominant and other botanicals play the main role.
How strong is gin?
Usually between 37.5% and 47% alcohol, depending on brand and style.
Where does gin originally come from?
Its roots are in the Low Countries, with gin being its forerunner. British soldiers took the idea to England, where gin became a huge hype in the 18th century.
What are botanicals?
These are the herbs, spices and fruits that give gin its flavour. Besides juniper, you often see coriander seed, angelica root, citrus peel, cinnamon, cardamom, lavender and more.
What gin do you use for a gin tonic?
It depends on your taste. A classic London Dry goes well with a neutral tonic, while a more floral gin can shine with a spicy or fruity tonic. Garnish (lemon, cucumber, rosemary, ...) finishes it off.
Which gin is suitable for drinking pure?
More and more premium gins are smooth and complex enough to drink pure or with a little ice. New Western styles and special cask-aged gins are particularly interesting to taste this way.
What is the difference between gin and vodka?
Both are neutral distillates, but with gin, botanicals are co-distilled or added, giving the drink much more flavour and character.
What is pink gin?
This is gin that has a pink colour, usually due to the addition of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, ...). Often also slightly sweeter in taste and popular in refreshing mixed drinks.
How do you use gin in cocktails?
Gin is hugely versatile and can be used for much more than just a gin & tonic. Well-known cocktails include the Negroni, Martini, Tom Collins, French 75 and Aviation.
The spicy base of gin makes it pair well with citrus, bitters and sparkling wine.
