Product info about Asbach Freiheitsbrand 1989
Asbach Freiheitsbrand 1989 is a German brandy with a clear point of reference: the distillate dates from 1989. That single year gives the bottle its identity and sets it apart from a more anonymous brandy without a dated background. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that attracts customers who enjoy a spirit with a specific time marker. The Asbach name, the German origin and the 1989 distillation date do most of the talking here. At 41% alcohol, the presentation remains straightforward and focused.
As these are the last bottles, availability is naturally limited. That makes Asbach Freiheitsbrand 1989 a particularly relevant choice for anyone looking for a German brandy with a clearly dated character.

About ASBACH
Asbach is a German brand best known for its brandy, officially often referred to as Weinbrand. The brand was founded in 1892, with its origin in Rüdesheim am Rhein, a town in the renowned wine region of Germany. For the production of Asbach, carefully selected grape wines are used, which is typical for the traditional German Weinbrand style. The distillation and aging take place according to regulations prescribed by German law for Weinbrand, whereby the distillate matures for at least six months in wooden barrels, although older variants are kept longer for a more complex taste and character. Asbach releases various expressions, including younger variants and special reserve editions, each appealing to its own audience. The taste of classic Asbach brandy is generally described as smooth and accessible, with subtle notes of vanilla, grape and a hint of oak. Thanks to its long history and strong connection to the German wine tradition, Asbach has secured a permanent place within the European brandy culture and is appreciated both neat and in mixed drinks and cocktails.
