Thienot is a modern Champagne house from France that originated in Reims, the beating heart of the Champagne region. The house was founded in 1985 by Alain Thienot and is therefore among the younger names in the traditional world of Champagne. Thienot positions itself as a family business and since then has earned a place alongside the older, established houses. Central to the style of Thienot is the idea of creating elegant and contemporary Champagnes with respect for the terroir. Their grapes are mainly sourced from premier cru and grand cru vineyards in, among others, the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne, which provides a beautiful balance between freshness and richness.
