Product info about Philipponnat Eau De Vie De Marc De Champagne Clos Des Goisses 2015 50cl
Philipponnat Eau De Vie De Marc De Champagne Clos Des Goisses 2015 is a French eau-de-vie with a clear Champagne identity. The name brings together Marc de Champagne and Clos des Goisses, giving the bottle a more defined sense of origin than a standard fruit or grape spirit.Distilled in 2015 and bottled at 43%, it has the presence one would expect from a serious eau-de-vie, while the 50 cl format gives it a refined, focused presentation. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who enjoys exploring the spirits connected to classic French wine culture.
Rather than relying on elaborate decoration or broad claims, this Philipponnat draws attention through its name, its origin and its specific year of distillation.

About PHILIPPONNAT
Philipponnat is a French name that is mostly internationally associated with champagne, but the brand also offers eau de vie on the market. Its origin lies in the Champagne region, where grapes from the family`s own vineyards have been used for generations. Philipponnat eau de vie is usually made from selected grape distillate, resulting in a clear and characterful distillate. While the house`s champagne is praised for its fine, elegant style, the eau de vie is clearly intended as a pure, neutral distilled product with an emphasis on smoothness and versatile usability. Only limited, general details are known about the background and production of the eau de vie: traditional distillation methods are used and the focus is on preserving the original grape aromas. The range typically consists of pure, unspiced variants without additives, intended for consumption as a digestif or as an ingredient in cocktails. Philipponnat eau de vie is less well known in the Netherlands than the champagnes, but offers an interesting alternative for enthusiasts of clear, fruity French distillates.
