The brand has its origins in 1821, when Girolamo Luxardo founded his distillery in the region of Dalmatia, now part of Croatia. The family business managed to pass on the art of liqueur making from generation to generation, which is still evident in the artisanal character of their products. After the Second World War, Luxardo moved to Torreglia in the province of Padova, where the brand is still based today and produces its liqueurs according to authentic recipes. The distillery is known for its range of versatile fruit and herbal liqueurs, among which Maraschino, Sambuca and Limoncello are internationally appreciated by both bartenders and home mixers.
