Product info about Metaxa 7*
Metaxa 7* is presented first and foremost through its Greek origin and the unmistakable Metaxa name. The 7* designation is part of the bottle's identity, giving it a recognisable place within the Metaxa range. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that suits customers looking for something distinctly Greek rather than a standard category choice. Bottled at 40% alcohol, Metaxa 7* has the strength expected from a full-bodied spirit, while its personality remains closely tied to the Metaxa style and name.

About METAXA
Metaxa is a beverage brand from Greece that has existed since 1888. The founder, Spyros Metaxa, developed a unique distillate in which elements of brandy, wine, and herbs come together. Production today takes place in Kiffisia near Athens. Metaxa is made based on a blend of grape distillates and muscat wines originating from, among others, Samos and Lemnos, after which the mixture matures for a longer period in oak barrels. The final result is completed with a secret mix of herbs, with rose petals often mentioned as a characteristic ingrediënt. Metaxa distinguishes itself in the world of spirits by its smooth character and distinctive, sweet-spicy profile. The brand is available in various editions, indicated by stars, which refer to, among other things, the maturation time and composition. In Greece, Metaxa is a household name, but internationally the brand has also built up a loyal following. The taste and the production process have largely remained true to the original recipe over the years, making Metaxa a steadfast name in the category of Greek distilled spirits.
